Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe rooms are a little bit outdated ALTHOUGH very clean and well maintained. They need to get new furniture, spruce up the bathroom a bit just to make it a bit more modern/updated/new.
The hotel had the PERFECT location, literally a few steps away from the main pedestrian street in town. Located otherwise great vis-a-vis restaurants and not so far from the main bus stop (an under 10 minute walk). We also liked the staff, most of them were very friendly and the breakfast area + breakfast were ample with a lot of options.

United StatesThe property is a little dated. The room was comfortable and adequate for our needs but I don’t get the European idea that a queen bed is two twins pushed together and made up as one bed. The gap is annoying. This is not unique to this hotel so not a ding specific to Centrale.
The location is convenient to the town center and a 10 minute walk to the cable car.

RomaniaI came back at 3 am after a long race and I had the worst surprise of finding the hotel closed and I could barely see anything in the dark. I found only a paper with the number of a security company. My phone was off. I had to find a place where to sleep till the morning. Could have been wiser for them to just leave a note: Ring the bell! The bell which I couldn't see at that time in the dark and being so tired...

The place is very quaint, the staff were very helpful, the location was very convenient, the breakfast was great! We liked observing the people who were hanging out in the many lobbies and common areas.
