Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Listing said laundry facilities and that is why we booked it. They do not have in house laundry. There is a laundry mat near by.
The hosts are amazing! So helpful. Breakfast has lots of options. Love that is an actual dining room and real dishes .

There is nothing to complain about
Everything is impeccable, and the location is super close to everywhere. The gracious old gentleman at the front desk is exceptionally kind and helpful. My english is a little rusty , but he has been exceptionally patient and gracious towards us. Guide us in the appropriate direction to all the attractions. We appreciate the clearly marked map and the value-for-money restaurants you kindly recommend. They are fantastic. The building is somewhat aged, but the bed and facilities are impeccably clean and comfortable. We had a delightful stay there. Thanks again.

Absolutely nothing
Perfect clean boutique hotel in a fantastic location near train station and short walk to all the city sites. Constantino the host was friendly and provided us with a map and lots of local knowledge. Will definitely stay here if we return to Florence.

The hotel is made from apartments in a building. Overall it is quite old furniture. Price is not low.
Family run hotel next to the train station. Very large room, very clean.

If you are handicapped or in a wheelchair, I would definitely not recommend it! Otherwise, it was quiet. If you wanted to watch TV, there were very few channels in English.
The room was large, clean, and nicely decorated for Florence. The elevator was small, but we were happy to have it! However, if the person that used it did not close the doors, it would be stuck on that floor until someone would close it!

The owner and his son were really nice and accommodating. They were very helpful. The breakfast was great. Go there! Also, it is very convenient next to the train station.

Reception closes at 1:30~, so you can’t enter the hotel later. Can be a minus for people wishing to party or stay out late.
Very generous and friendly hosts. Excellent and safe location.

All good, Costantino was great. A Family run business passing on to new generation. Had a great reception late from Milan, comfortable room and breakfast for go. Had late train back to Rome and had left small baggage at hotel and came back early after checkout post trip in Florence and Pissa, Costantino welcomed all day long. Will recommend
One for the go, but location is best to be in.
