Breakfast: There was a good variety available at the buffet. However, it would be nice to have a hot dish served fresh. Although eggs and bacon were placed on a food warmer, it didn’t keep the eggs warm enough. Since this is a small hotel with fewer than 50 rooms, it would be an excellent idea to offer hot dishes made to order and served directly to the table. Otherwise, everything ends up cold.

Room: Very clean and nice. Enough for two people to stay for a week not more than one week.

The restaurant can improve. We were given the wrong menu and orders could therefor not be completed. Ordered pana cotta for dessert, which was served looking like soup and not set. We paid before arrival, but at checkout the hotel questioned our payment.

The location is perfect and very convenient for visiting Florence. Ample parking space which is usually a problem at hotels in Italy. Staff go out of their way to assist in your every need.

The electric kettle in the room is difficult to use when there is no power outlet in the cupboard and customers have to carry the kettle and the large tray outside the cupboard to boil water, while the table outside is very cramped.

it was beautiful- both Modern and culturally distinct. The outside patio, bar and restaurant were absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast bar was not only a piece of art to view but everything was so delicious. We enjoyed th food, the service, and the atmosphere so much we ate dinner twice on the patio- and s special shout out to the chef who made the fantastic sautéed spinach- highly recommend! We also used the spa, and it was really peaceful and relaxing as well. Definitely coming back here- really a lovely place. Oh- staff was incredible, and extraordinarily kind and helpful!

Limited choices at breakfast.

It was in the outskirts of the city so easier to drive to and park. Just a short walk to the bridge and main city attractions. Beautiful hotel .. very clean and the staff were just amazing!

something to bear in mind is the actual distance the hotel is to the centre of Florence. It is a 15 euro ride in a taxi or a good 25/30 minute walk. We had a hire car and the charge per day that the hotel charges for parking is 35 euros. The car is housed somewhere away from the hotel and a 1 hour notice period is required by the hotel for collection and drop off.

Breakfast, most of the choices are homemade and good quality produce and a vast selection to choose from. All of the staff I encountered were polite, helpful and informative. The hotel is clean and tidy. Our room overlooked the waterfall on the river Arno. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the view in the evening sun, whilst sipping a beer is very pleasant.
