Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaFrancesco was an amazing host! He was extremely thoughful and helpful and made the stay truly amazing. The rooms were impeccable, the bathroom was functional, spacious and clean. The balcony was a very nice touch and was a peaceful place to reflect and catch up in the mornings and evenings. The size of the room eas great by roman standards as well. I will re-book for sure.

United StatesThe water pressure in the bathroom was not great. The first night we stayed there also seemed to be no hot water in the shower. The metal "rainfall" shower head also looked like it had fallen or been damaged in the past because it was severely dented and had water spraying out of the seams, making the already weak water pressure worse. The bed only had a single sheet on the mattress and a thin bed cover on top. It would have been nice to have a second sheet and a blanket for when it gets cool at night. That being said, the overall stay is a great value for the price.
Check-in was super easy and the receptionist was extremely friendly and kind who explained how to get in and out, and provided us with a map of Rome and some really helpful tips on how to get around. The room was large, quiet and clean with lots of natural light. The location of the hotel is great. It's within walking distance of lots of tourist attractions but far enough away that it's quiet and away from crowds. We also really liked the little old-school elevator that you could use for luggage or getting up and down. Overall a nice, large, quiet room very close to lots of restaurants and within walking distance (or a quick metro ride) of many attractions.

GermanyOur experience at this hotel was excellent, From the moment we arrived, everything was really good. The room was perfectly clean, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. What truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding service, especially from Francesco. He was incredibly helpful, polite, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel's location is also a major highlight. It's in a very nice and safe area, with multiple convenient transportation options that allowed us to quickly and easily reach the city center. We also absolutely loved discovering the charming nearby cafes and their friendly staff.

What can I say?! My boyfriend and I had the most AMAZING 5-night stay at Habito ❤️ Even before we arrived, communication with Francesco and the team was seamless. They answered all my questions about the property, location and nearby transport options with such care and clarity. The room was spotless, a great size, with a lovely shower — and situated on the most beautiful, peaceful street in a charming neighbourhood just outside the city centre hustle. We felt so safe and at home, and truly loved coming back to this calm little haven each day. We hadn’t initially booked breakfast, but ended up going nearly every morning (except our Sperlonga day trip!) to Dolce Cafe, just 2 minutes away. The coffee was incredible and breakfast was simple, delicious and a perfect way to start the day. We had the pleasure of meeting both Bianca and Francesco during our stay, and the customer service was absolutely exceptional. A special thank you to Bianca, who helped me so kindly and patiently when my luggage was delayed at the airport for 2 days! She truly went above and beyond — not just with help, but with her warmth. Whether we were messaging on Booking.com or chatting in person, it felt like speaking to a friend. That kind of personal care is so rare and so appreciated. 💛 I had been slightly worried the location might be too far out, but it was actually perfect — around a 30-minute walk to the main sights, so we explored on foot a lot and got to see so many beautiful local streets. The metro and buses were also super close and easy when needed. We loved the welcome note and sweets, the daily housekeeping, luggage storage, and having bottled water topped up each day — it’s the little things that make a stay feel so cared for. 100% recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for everything — wishing the whole Habito team all the success in the world. I hope we’ll be back someday! ❤️

SerbiaHonestly, I liked everything about this place—there’s nothing I would change or add on the negative side.
The host Francesco was incredibly kind, helpful, and provided clear instructions on how to reach the property—even accommodating our late check-in and early check-out without any issues. The location is perfect: it’s in a peaceful, non-touristy area, but still within walking distance of all the major sights—we even walked to the Vatican! The neighbourhood is full of great restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores, which made everything convenient. The suite itself was comfortable with good air conditioning, a comfy bed, and a mini fridge, which was especially appreciated during our stay—we visited during some of the hottest days in Rome, so having cold beverages on hand was a huge plus! It has just the right amount of space for travelers who prefer to spend most of their time exploring rather than indoors. Ideal if you're the type who just needs a clean, functional, and cozy place to shower and sleep. We arrived from Fiumicino Airport by bus to Rome Termini Station, and then walked about 20 minutes to the property. It was an easy walk, but buses and taxis are available nearby if you prefer not to walk with luggage.

GermanyThe staff is extremely friendly and really going out if their way to make everything possible for the guests, including helping to arrange little surprises. They have a very personal approach and because of that it feels very unique. Special thanks at this point to Francesco, who took great care of my parents during their trip.

IcelandThe location was great, I thought it was located far away from some of the main attractions but that wasn´t true. Public transport is very accessible as well as it is easy to get around on foot. The hotel was clean and everything you would need was provided. Francesco the host was truly amazing! It felt like visiting home rather than a hotel. Francesco responded quickly to all of my messages and was very helpful. We even got a free room upgrade, without even asking for it. I was kind of sad that we stayed there for only one night. I would highly recommend!

MaltaWe stayed in Habito suites for 3 days. It was a quick trip to Rome and we had the best time. We were very happy with our accommodation, the neighbourhood is very nice and there are loads of cafes and restaurants close by. The room was very nice and clean. It was 30 min on foot to the most popular sightseeing's. Everywhere walking distance, it takes some time, but while you are walking you get to see nice places and explore around. The host Francesco was so sweet and kind. He went out of his way to assist us. He also took care of our backpacks on our check out and kept them safe until we picked them up. Very professional host and we would like to thank him for his hospitality. We would definitely recommend this place and we will be back! :)

Absolutely loved our stay this weekend at Habito Suits! Francesco the host was welcoming and ensures you have everything needed for your stay. The room was clean, comfortable , well equipped, safe and had great facilities. Near to the metro station but also had restaurants and cafes nearby and shops a small walk away. Would definitely recommend! We chose to walk most of the time into the city and only took between 20-30 minutes.
