The only suggestion is if a person has significant heart, lung or arthritic disease the stairs would be difficult.

The hosts are welcoming, more than friendly, helpful in the most positive way. The breakfasts are delicious and a work of "heart", the room is very comfortable. The stairs are not a problem for luggage because there is an ingenious luggage lift

Monica and Salvio were the best host ever. They create a place with all theire heart - * you can see it in all the details of the room and the kitchen * you can taste it (the breakfast was the best breakfast we ever had in Italy, everything local, fresh and so tasty. We already miss it:) ) * you can feel when you see and communicate with them. The bed is cozy, airconditions works perfekt, everything smells great, clean... We really feel like home here. I had a very good experience with Habitare. The breakfast was amazing, with local and tasty ingredients prepared by Salvio, who made the dishes with great care and love. The properties Salvio and his wife truly care about their guests, which is really nice. My room was very clean and recently renovated.

Nothing - all we could have hoped for ... we stayed two days and did Lecce by evening and night and the beach by day.

Brilliant... could not fault. Salvio was super friendly and accommodating along with his wife for help and advice - restaurants and beach and local suggestions. The breakfast choice.... just fantastic and the Sorento way. Clean and tastefully done. Close to the Lecce Napoli Porto.

Yes, it’s outside the old town, but only 5 min walk and it’s easy to park your car for free. Monica and Salvio, the owners, are charming and have created a place that feels like home. Our bedroom was decorated. The breakfast is amazing for both quality and variety. For the price this place is 12 out of ten. Not flash, just comfy and welcoming.

The room was lovely! Really comfortable bed with plush pillows. The hosts were so nice, and very attentive with their guests. They put everything into running their B&B and it makes a difference to your stay in Lecce! We have to say something about the amazing breakfast that keeps you going all day. Great property a short walk from Lecce old town. The rooms are well decorated with high ceilings. Very comfortable bed and great shower. The aircon was welcomed as was the hassle free street parking. Special highlight is the breakfast which is the best we have had on our travels. Lots of thought and fresh local ingredients filling us up for most of the day.

The place was in a great location, ten minutes walk from the main area. parking on the street is free. The room was well decorated and had anything we needed. Location fantastic- 5-10 minutes flat walk into old town, plenty of free parking on streets nearby (last week May 2025) , close to a supermarket too. Salvio and Monica treat you like family , and the breakfast, if you can even finish it, is incredible with dishes of the day and all made by Salvio, who will teach you about the food of the region. About 50 steps up to the accommodation from the street so be ready but a new “bag lift” means you don’t have to carry anything else. Includes shampoo/hairdryer/small fridge. A wonderful place to stay. We hope to be back one day!!

This is a charming and comfortable stay in a good location near Lecce’s old town. The decor is eclectic and modern and the rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities that you need. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding - the hosts prepare plates that are works of art with fresh local ingredients. The hosts are also very helpful with driving and sight-seeing advice.

Nice and big room with all facilities. Famous location for it's breakfast with inspiring dishes. Only 5 min walk to the city centre. Quit street and free parking in the neigbourhood. Friendly and helpful hosts. Small elevator for the luggage.

There was nothing I didn't enjoy immensely about this property.

What a wonderful place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer, if only to eat breakfast there every day. The owners were so kind, caring, helpful, generous, personable. The property is only a few blocks away from the historic center of Lecce with so much to see, so many good places to eat, so much to just sit and watch. The room was clean, comfortable, and very uniquely decorated. It was fun to return to it each evening. We had a small balcony and enjoyed just stepping out to watch the neighborhood. And then there was breakfast - a choice between sweet and savory every morning, prepared individually and introduced by Salvio the host and chef. Each morning's breakfast was unique, authentic southern Italian fare, prepared with so much care and flare. And always more than either my husband or I could eat. There was never a need for lunch. I was initially hesitant about the stairs as there is no elevator but there was no problem. There is a small lift for luggage so no need to carry anything up or down.

Salvio and Monica have created a wonderfully comfortable and stylish place from which to explore Lecce. They were fantastically helpful in sharing their knowledge about Lecce and the surrounding area. The breakfast they served will live long in the memory. They also organised an olive oil tasting experience for us which was really interesting and which was accompanied by some wonderful food and wine.

Don’t come to Lecce without staying with Monica and Salvio. They have created a very special place that has every comfort you could possible need. Salvios design expertise is evident in the beauty of the rooms. It is a 10 mins walk to centre of the beautiful Old City . Their hospitality is incredible and the food that Salvio prepares is out of this world. We highly recommend taking advantage to the tours and Olive oil tasting to learn more about the people and culture of Salento and Lecce . All in all an exquisite experience that left us sad to be leaving and determined to come back
