Our stay at Guidos was a great experience. He was very welcoming and was very helpful with any enquires we had. Guido was kind enough to offer to pick us up from the airport when we arrived as there were train strikes that affected our original plan which was super helpful and he even stopped at the supermarket along the way to allow us to pick up some essentials. The Apartment itself was very clean and comfortable with a good sized bed and good shower. The location was also perfect and only 5-10 min walk to the lakeside and many restaurants and had a lovely view of the Roman Villa. It is also a short walk to supermarkets so it is easy to pick up things as you need them. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future :)

Guido's mum Milly gave us such a warm welcome and a cake when we left. Lovely apartment with amazing views on the balcony. Short walk to Desenzano centre and ferries to the rest of the lake. 20 mins walk to train station. Ideal for people interailing like us. Made use of the washing machine as we had travelled light.

There wasn't an iron, but we survived, but I am sure if we asked Guido we would have assisted or advised where to get one if needed.

Guido was an amazing host, after finding out we were getting into Malpensa at 21:30 and either paying £350 for a transfer, or getting a Bus to Milano Centrale, then a train then a bus this late her offered to pick us up for 80 euros which was amazing and saved a lot of stress. The view from the balcony was amazing, and we had fireworks on the Saturday to watch thanks to the Cycling Festival. The blinds are total blackout blinds. The kitchen/dining area was well stocked with utensils and appliances. The location had little noise form outside. It was minutes' walk from the main square.

The living room / second bedroom is very compact :) but has all you need.

Fabulous location - quiet yet seconds from the lake and the shops and restaurants. Overlooks Villa Romana which is a lovely view. It’s a compact apartment with a great bathroom, balcony and small kitchen.

Not the property itself and out of the host’s control but the neighbours very loud clock (think church bell) which chimes the hours and a single chime on the half hour 24 hours a day. Guido kindly provides ear plugs but they made my ears sore - I would suggest guests take their own noise cancelling earphones or plugs.

Easy check-in, lots of info from Guido who was easily contactable through the stay. Position couldn’t be better with amazing views over the Roman Villa and out onto the lake in a central private residential area. Guido gave us a key to access secure underground parking for our rental Vespa. Lovely little bakery just around the corner for fresh breakfast pastries and an Aldi within walking distance for other supplies. Pleasant walk to the lakeside, restaurants, shops and ferry and only a 30 minute walk to the train station. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again :)

The neighbour's clock is indeed a bit annoying. We got used to it really quickly though and didn't have any issues sleeping.

The apartment's location is great and the place is furnished with everything one needs. Super friendly host! Would definitely stay there again.

The location was amazing, beautiful views from the balcony and very close to the lake and the beautiful city centre. Guido was very helpful and nice to talk to, always responded quickly and did his best to accomodate us. There was no issue with communication in english (and a little polish, too). Despite our late arrival the host was very understanding as well. The apartment was well kept and a pleasure to live in, we used the paid parking that was within walking distance to the apartment, which made moving our luggage easy. Will certianly go back there, both the host and the place are worthy of recommendation

The place exceeded our expectations, amazing view from the balcony. Loved having my coffee in the morning watching the mountains and at this time of year still snow on top. Guido is very friendly and helpful. The place is clean, peaceful, lots of restaurants nearby and only a minute walk to the lake. Wish we'd more time there, will definitely come back.

Nothing on hotel side but buses can be a bit tricky so might want to find an alternative just in case it didn't show up. (Ours didn't and we missed our train even though we we left an hour ahead. Train station to the place is less than 15 mins away by bus, 10 mins by car)

We absolutely loved our stay here! Location was great, place was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was so kind and helpful. He recommended a few places which we went to and had a such a lovely day. I can't recommend this place enough!
