Everything was good.

Communication with Vanna was good. We had a car so deliberately booked this place because of public car park below the property (cost of 20 euros per 24 hrs - voucher given by property on arrival). Entrance to property beside car park entrance, and accommodation on 2 nd floor. Quite a few stairs to top floor but accommodation was immaculate, clean, smart, modern with very large balcony/terrace looking on to town. We chose this place for its proximity to the historic quarter and you couldn't get closer than this. Literally a dozen steps to the pedestrianised and beautiful town of Matera. Property was very quiet for such a central area, although we were travelling off season, but the town was still very busy. Matera came as more of a surprise than we expected. It has a fascinating history and fantastic maze of medieval streets. We took a small group guided tour with Gaetano of Renato Favilli Guided Tours, which was excellent as our guide was both entertaining and informative. Would like to return to see more of the town.

Nothing at all!

Excellent location just beside the old town outside the ZTL. The property has its own secured paid parking (€15/day) which was super convenient. We left the car in the car park and walked to everywhere. The apartment is very new and fully equipped, we love it! Lastly, Vanna the host is very friendly and helpful and it was our pleasure dealing with her. We will definitely stay here again if we come to Matera in the future.

We liked everything. The location is excellent, in the city centre. The parking is just underneah the apartment. The apartment is beautiful, modern, clean and has everything one could need. Vanna is very sweet and helpful! What could we need more than this? 🙂

We left a watermelon in the kithen & got red ants from the terrace. There is no elevator in the house.

Being able to park at the apartment was fantastic but please be aware that it comes at an extra cost of 20 euro per day.

The location was excellent. One block away from the old town. Facilities modern and apartment very clean.

Ideal location, just in the doorstep of the old own, with a parking garage underneath the property! Very spacious and modern.

The windows of the opposite building are really close however in the city centre such thing is not surprising as well.

Location and again location. If you are planning to stay just one-two days and you do not want to bother with the parking or public transport it is right choice. The old centrum starts just behind the corner. We can only recommend.

The location of this place is excellent! It's at the cusp of the historic center, 1-2 minutes walk, and not directly in it, which was very convenient for us, because arrived with a car. The room is comfortable, clean, well equipped. Breakfast is not provided. a good coffee machine was available at the premises including coffee capsules. The kitchenette was well equipped and the linen was clean and crisp, Vanna, the property manager, is helpful, kind, and addressed all our questions very quickly.

It was an excellent experience.

This is a good size room in a terrific location. The staff were very helpful. It was great to park our car just outside in the car park.

Like almost all of the hotels we stayed at in Italy, there seems to a lack of dusting as it’s obviously built up over multiple guest visits.

Our room was very spacious with a wonderful terrace. The location was great for visiting Matera by car while being close enough to explore everywhere on foot.

Nothing bad to say

This was a perfect choice for visiting Matera Great central location with an easy access parking lot underneath just meters from the ZTL zone. Room on first floor was modern, clean and well equipped. Two bottles of water in the fridge on arrival. Host was enthusiastic and helpful.
