How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room was quite small
The staff was super friendly and the facilities like sauna and whirlpool are very nice. It was also clean and the breakfast had lots of different options. Nice restaurants also by food reachable

We had a room in the corner, so view from balcony was limited. By check-in they collected our ID card and by check-out we forgot to ask back and they didn't return. Luckily we remembered after 1/2h driving. But 1h from our day was lost.
Good restaurant. The food, the service and the area excellent. Clean rooms. Really friendly staff.

It was modernized, clean and offered a great breakfast. Room was spacious. Also, after a Booking.com glitch that failed to reserve the correct night at the hotel, Lisa at the front desk went above-and-beyond and found a room for us.

What a superb hotel! Friendly staff, lovely spacious bedroom with a calming mountain view, EXCELLENT food - just an all-round wonderful stay. A huge thank you to the great team - we will absolutely return whenever we're next in South Tyrol.

Wifi was weak in some places like our room.
The staff were very nice and had great customer service. The half board was worth it! Food was very good! The location was convenient as well. The spa area was a nice addition and had more options that we were anticipating.

Nothing to report - all was well
Easy check-in and helpful staff. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony and view. The breakfasts provided were very nice, including providing Gluten Free options for my partner. Staff were very helpful in providing information regarding the local area and also on how to travel to neighboring areas. First rate experience all around. Would very happily stay there again if I'm ever back to Gossensass.

Missing bathrobes in the room for the sauna, which staying in the ground floor. We can't to visit it, because there hadn't dress-room and you can go there only in bathrobe
Spacious room. Nice view of the mountains. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Very friendly personal in restaurant and hotel. Convenient location - close to the highway.

The location is under the bridge of a massive autobahn with no central entrance to arrive with a car. It took us good 10 min to drive around in the dark figuring out how to enter the hotel as the only way to enter is through the parking garage. Dinner was nothing special - 3 courses meal of an average quality. No salad bar, so for those who like nice food, keep your expectations down or pay additional 30 - 40 eur and stay in any 4 stars hotel in Vipiteno. The most ridiculous thing was when the hotel charged us Eur 4.50 for a bottle of tap water, when the majority of 4 stars hotels charge you 2.50. Breakfast was ok but again, do not expect fresh juice or nice fresh fruits - bananas were half rotten and dumped in a basket with some apples and oranges. The cloth stained at dinner was not changed and in the morning I had a lovely reminder of salsa accidentally dropped on the table. Again, if this hotel charges people 4.50 for a bottle of tap water, is this that hard to pay for a laundry or is the owner so ridiculously stingy ? The last bit not least is when at 9:30 am a member of staff knocked on the door of our room asking us to leave as they had to clean rooms because of new arrivals which apparently arrived before the actual check in time. Considering that the breakfast in the hotel is until 10am, getting such a push out was something extraordinary which upset plenty of customers who had to leave on the same day with us. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to their attitude and poor service.

Very old, flattened pillows. Mattresses are new but very hard Breakfast: warm meals are absent Drinks for dinner for an additional fee: prices are unreasonably high: 0.5L of white home-made wine (not bottled) - 16 Eur. This is a record for Italian hotels
