The hotel is on a busy road which means you need to pay attention walking into town. The noise from the road was not an issue for our stay though as the rooms were away from the road. The buffet breakfast is okay, not great.

The hotel is old fashioned and would have been very grand in its day. It is still lovely and gives the impression of being in a time capsule. The rooms are a lovely size, clean and have amazing views. We had a large balcony. The star of the show is the pool. The location is also very convenient to walk into town.

The bed is super comfortable. Loved having a private balcony room 507. The pool and restaurant over looking the pool had spectacular views. The pools were amazing too. Very child friendly - but not noisy or messy. The staff were all very friendly. I also loved the colors of the interior. Great location.

Breakfast buffet and poolside cafe for lunch were great. Dinner was overpriced and only so so. Recommend eating dinner in downtown Sorrento.

Beautiful property with an excellent location. Away from the bustle of town but just a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Sorrento. Stunning views and lovely pool area. Highly recommend!

Everything. Staff were amazing, hotel was so clean and the service from everyone was great. Room was lovely and cleaned daily. Always got a lounger round the pool even after being out all day. Breakfast was lovely and so much choice. Pool food and drink was also really reasonable and the team who served you were always so happy and couldn’t do enough for you

I would really like to rate this hotel as 9 or 10 due to the location, cleanliness and attentive staff, but I simply cannot due to the breakfast. I travel a lot for business and have the opportunity to have a lot of chance to sample different hotels. I was not impressed with the breakfast for the price of the hotel, I do not want the review to put other people from choosing the hotel as it has a fantastic location, but the breakfast is average, not a huge choice, not as fresh as I would have expected and lacking quality.

The view from the room was amazing, of the Sorrento coastline and the port. Location of the hotel is a major advantage, literally only 5 minutes walk to the start of the road with all shops, bars and restaurants, and no more than 15 minutes walk to the main square of Sorrento. The port is also only 25 minutes walk (if you want to take the walk) to get your ferries to Positano, Amalfi and Capri.

This isn't particularly for this hotel, but the area in general - more salads on the menu please! It's hot - and if you don't want to pile on the pounds, it's difficult to find any decent salads. Sounds crazy I know, and the food at the hotel is excellent, but it was tough to find lighter bites.

This is an outstanding hotel. Firstly it's location is superb - a five minute walk to the main high street with shops and restaurants. Secondly the views are incredible and although we didn't have a sea-facing room, it didn't matter as there are so many terraces and bars with incredible views, that you are spoilt for choice. The swimming pool area is stunning with waterfall pools and they were the perfect temperature and never too busy. Plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and towels, along with a drinks service, meant we spent many happy hours there with Sorrento and the bay below us. The staff there are exceptional. All spoke English and were SO friendly. The waiting staff in particular need a mention, but everyone from the lovely guy who tirelessly brought us drinks in the pool area, to the lifeguard, to the maids and waiters - they couldn't have been more charming or helpful. They made the best cocktails and we started every evening on the main terrace before heading to dinner. We only booked a basic room, but it was gorgeous: electric blinds, balcony, comfortable bed, great air conditioning (I was concerned before going as I saw some comments about it not being cold enough and I need a cool room at night. But I need not have worried - it was perfect and I slept so well). Breakfast was delicious and they have an amazing eggs chef who cooks up fresh eggs and omelettes to order. It's busy at 9.30am (we never made it early) but there was always plenty of choice. In short, we loved it. We will be back for sure. It is a little bit of heaven.

For the price we paid I felt it was missing some basic extras that I would expect to be included like free bottled water in the room, a more varied and luxurious breakfast buffet and a shuttle service to the harbour and train station. Also shame that the lovely poolside restaurant and the beautiful rooftop terrace were empty in the evenings.

Great location, fabulous view of the bay and Vesuvius especially from the dining area, beautiful decor and surroundings, very clean, friendly staff.

Only a small thing but the bathroom floor was extremely slippery, there was no extractor fan in the bathroom which meant everything ended up damp with a slippery floor (there was no window available to open) wouldn’t stop me staying there again.

The location was excellent. Far enough out of town but close enough to walk in. Quality of the hotel and the staff was excellent, comfy beds and the black out blinds were a great idea
