I think this place needs a bit of a refurbishment as the decor is quite antiquated. The shower was super small (even though the bathroom had a good size). One thing that really bugged me is that we were asked to wear a swimming cap at the pool. I mean, this was not a therapy pool, it was a leisure pool. The food at the hotel restaurant was good, but they were short of staff.

It's a nice resort and our room was quite spacious & comfortable. The breakfast was really great & the staff was nice & helpful. The resort is right by the sea & the beach club is quite cool (they have entertainment at night).

The lack of gluten free options at the beach bar for our kids, Waiting almost one and a half hours at the restaurant to get served a pizza, competing for deck chairs in the weekend.

Check in was smooth and the information provided was very clear. We stayed in the self catering apartments. Very spacious and very clean. Staff were very pleasant, and there are lifeguards on duty near the pool and at the beach. Wifi is free and the signal is strong. Overall very good accommodation.

Hotel Riva del Sole in Giovinazzo is a lovely hotel at the water’s edge. We were comfortable and dined at the restaurant two of the nights we stayed there. The “central” location provided us the opportunity for day trips to some outstanding locations including Aberobello, Rimini, Apulia, Matera…to name a few. You won’t be disappointed.

Location was a bit far from anything.We got cabs as we didn't realise there were buses. Hotel could do a welcome pack in each room, with lots of Information in about buses, trains etc. Also we tried getting english channels on tv, couldn't find them. We asked for a free upgrade of room, was told would need to pay. Our room wasn't the best , but it was clean. Would have liked to swim in the pool but it was closed until June. It was so hot! It seems that out of season nothings looked after enough. As while we were there everything was getting painted and cleaned. It should be looked after all year. Overall enjoyed our stay.

We loved laying by the sea in the deck chairs. The surrounding trees and flowers around the hotel are beautiful. All staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast was exceptional as was our dinner in the restaurant.

It is not a 4 star hotel.. my opinion max. 3 star.. need some refreshing inside, too. the room was not so nice, no safe, I ask a kettle what they give me.. it was great. there are some uncompfortable things, small thiny shower cabin, no hanger on the wall for towels, u can not put anything in bathroom only on the floor.. no shelfs or sg.. nothing! bed was soft . The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the neighbors. Awful view from room.. really!! First I changed for a 2. One, but that was worst and after I ask back what was before.. really not nice rooms.. dark and cold. Nothing was open in the end of April, no pool, u can not go for the beach side from hotel cos they closed it!!! Only open from 1 of June til 16 of September.. in a mediterran area??? Come on!!! I was disappointed cos I booked a hotel cos of the sea side and beach! But nobody could go there.. and rent a car if you dont have it there you are lost!! Taxi are extremly expensive what I also didnt understand.. its ok.. to visit for ones but only after 1 of June!

Around the hotel could be beautiful, llike inside the garden but it was not like in the pictures! Absolutelly not!!! Far away from how it is looking in real!!! The breakfastt was really good! Caffee was just perfect!! The employment in the hotel were very kind, helpful and nice people, Daniele, the man in the bar was my favorite! He was gorgeous and very nice person!

Pool was not filled as early in the season. Restaurant menu was limited but again we were there very early in the season and may get better later.

Beach was limited, rocky. Breakfast was great with a large selection and very fresh. Room was relatively small but comfortable, quiet and nice and new. Ideal position for airport as very close.

There are no slippers in the room, which especially during winter makes it not comfortable when staying in the room. Bathtub had some hair. AC is kind of loud. Pillows are not comfortable.

Location is great, near the airport and near Giovinazzo with lovely restaurants and cafès. The breakfast is very nice, the esspresso tastes perfect and the staff very friendly and proffessional.

The only one annoying thing was that the apartment is close to the beach, 30-40 meters, but the gate to it was closed and you had to do a detour of 400 meters to get to the beach!

We were not given much Info at check-in so had to ask for a lot later, but that was fine. The beach area was empty when we there, I.e. no service offered like coffee, drinks, or mattresses for the day beds. To be fair, the weather was not hot, but it was also not bad, as we had no rain, just clouds. We could still sit there, but with a little extra effort the hotel could have made it an even better experience.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Great breakfast, place close by the sea, clean rooms. The beach area looks lovely, but was not really open whilst we were there, despite it being September.

The hotel is tired. Needs some tlc. Wouldn't say it was a four star. Balcony in room was too small and no chairs to sit out so couldn't use apart from drying clothes . Had to move rooms because of issues in bathroom (sinks blocked) . Need a car to get around as nothing close to hotel. Finally, best places at beach are reserved and not available to hotel guests.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Car parking is plentiful and hotel grounds are superb. Breakfast and food in beach restaurant is good. Giovinazzo is beautiful.
