I wouldn’t consider it a 4 star, it could do with some renovation , and I feel that basic things like having a bottle of water a day it’s what I would expect from a 4 star hotel

Hotel in an ideal location on the seafront staff friendly and helpful. Valet parking . Rooms very clean beds very comfortable .

We went there because of the spa and fitness. The facilities are small, without windows and somehow claustrophobic. On the top of that they ask 25 EUR/p entry fee

Charging guests for access to the beach was unexpected with info shared too late to change mind. The discount for guests versus walk-up beach-goers was a mere 10 euros, which is offensive seeing as we are already paying well for the accommodation.

The booking of the beach umbrellas and loungers was weird- we were told that many were booked and were not available so they stuck us at the far end. As it turned out those nearer the beach restaurant, and closer to the sea, were left unoccupied the whole day. Those in charge were completely inflexible about changing. It made no sense. I doubt people were prepared to pay 50 euros to book and then not pitch.

The staff were excellent- at reception and for dining. We had the half board- good variety and really good quality. It was worth it. I was surprised to see so many bad and indifferent reviews. I think those who wrote them have personal problems. Especially Sinai at reception and Munir in the dining room and the maitre D - whose name I did not know- were really lovely. . Mireille in the spa gave an excellent massage.Only one lift is problematical but one could get over it. Breakfast al fresco overlooking the sea was fabulous. It was useful having a gym although it was small.

The shower and bathroom overall were small and somewhat inconvenient. They had only one elevator which was very small so there was a lot of waiting.

The location was incredible and the view was amazing. The breakfast each morning was very good and the bar was excellent for a pre or post dinner drink.

They no longer have the playroom pictured in booking. Used to free water, at least on first night Breakfast could vary a bit more from day to day. Pool and spa is extra.

Extra charges for use of the swimming pool. Tea delivered to the room 10 euro. Lots of extra charges for stuff that's for free in other hotels.

It's not about the hotel, but still hotel's part: caffè at the bar is terrible.
