The downside, unfortunately, was the sink in the bathroom, which clogged and stood water in it while washing, which was very uncomfortable. The view from the balcony none, because there was a high wall.

Hotel with a beautiful garden and a large swimming pool, sun loungers and towels available for guests. On the private beach also sun loungers with towels. Hotel staff smiling and very professional. Breakfast delicious, with a choice of probably everything that can be for breakfast. There were also omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, waffles or sweet pancakes prepared on the fly. I must single out the consierge at the hotel, Mr. Andres, who was up to the task and helped us immensely. We were supposed to take trains to Lido di Jesolo and unfortunately there was a train strike that day and we had no way to get there. After a few hours of nerves, it turned out that we would have a rental car substituted, and the next day someone would pick it up from us in Lido di Jesolo. Once again, thank you very much and the hotel highly recommended.

There is no shade in the hotel parking lot. There is only one towel hook in the bathroom. The pool water could be warmer. The menu of dishes in the hotel restaurant and their taste is rather average. For lunches and dinners, I recommend using the restaurants in the surrounding area. The beach in this area is dirty and the water is cloudy. We therefore did not go to the beach and spent most of our time at the pool.

I personally would not pay the charge for the private beach, just stay by the pool. Also the car park charge had gone up from €15 daily to €25 which is a bit steep. Lastly and this is a minor niggle and it applies all over Europe: why is it such a struggle to get cold milk with my cup of tea? The breakfast staff should be trained in all the hot drinks preferences.

This is what you expect from a 5 star hotel. The staff are so courteous and well trained. The breakfast is the best I have ever seen. the rooms are sumptuous and extremely comfortable. I was given an upgrade and the staff noticed it was my birthday and delivered a cake to my room which was truly scrumptious. The pool area is lovely as are the treatments in the spa. I try and come here once a year at least.

We stayed at the end of the season and found that some of the water jets in the pool were not working. Our room was stunning as was the bathroom, the only small point to note were that the shower screen doors didn’t quite join which lead to water on the floor, however, the towels were changed regularly and so this didn’t cause us a great issue. The only other issue was plug adaptors but there was a shop just down the road with plenty of adaptors for the round EU plugs to the 3 straight pin EU plugs - it would have been nice had these been available from reception as we’ve found at other 5 star hotels in Italy.

The hotel is stunning and finished to a very high standard, the room, bathroom, pool and facilities are all beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there is a large secure car park onsite if you are driving. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of options including very tempting pastries and omelettes and crepes made to order. Great location within walking distance of the port with its restaurants and shops. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, with beds and towels provided and i had a very nice pedicure. The gym was well equipped, which is generally what my partner judges a hotel by and was pleased to be able to get a good workout. We look forward to returning again, but probably end of season so as to enjoy another fairly quiet and relaxing stay. One of the unexpected highlights was a classic char rally which stopped at the hotel, the staff did amazingly well considering the number for the banquet and still had time for the guests.
