How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It Is a 4 star hotel, but maybe a little dated for air conditoning or bathroom, but in the end it has everything you need and is clesn

It's a little dated but all in all the staff were fabulous.

Decor’s a bit Barbie meets Star Wars but you get used to the lime green flooring and the bright, bright corridors .actually grows on ya !! Ended up rather liking it !
Big spacious room in this thoroughly modernised hotel minutes from the airport and bang on top of the railway station ! Super convenient

We asked for airport transfer and felt completely scammed by the hotel. In the afternoon the day before, we asked them to order a taxi for us at 5 am the next morning. It was 20 EUR. When we asked to order it for 4.30 instead, they insisted it would be 30 EUR. Fine. The next morning at 4.30, there is no taxi and the receptionist orders a taxi on the spot after we have to ask him again. Seems a bit silly knowing that if we had arranged the taxi ourselves via app it would have been 6 EUR. Taking into account the taxi drive is 5 minutes. They take advantage of people not knowing if taxis are available or not at that hour in the morning. What a disappointing departure.
Big spacious room, ideal location next to the train station, nice restaurants in walking distance and perfect to catch a flight from.

This is not a 4 star hotel even not in the renewed room The receptionist has been a big problem and does not have needed preparation - refuse to book a taxi for early morning pick up - mix up dates for shuttle - suggesting restaurants in the neighbourhood that were ALL closed that evening ( Sunday )
Some rooms have been renewed. Ideally positioned in front of central station

Personally, I don't like music piped into the hallways, music videos at breakfast and large TV screens projecting at dinner. I would prefer silence or discreet background music at the maximum.
I've stayed at the Grand Hotel Lamezia on numerous occasions. For the price and proximity to Lamezia Terme Airport, it can't be beat. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel had a very good location — close to both the airport and the train station. It’s a great choice for travelers who want to visit other cities during their stay in Italy. The hotel itself is a bit old, but it offers a variety of rooms. Two of the rooms we were offered had windows facing the hotel’s inner patio, which felt a bit gloomy and uninviting. However, the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Without any hesitation or resistance, they respected our request and changed our room. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff were very warm and friendly, which made the mornings even more pleasant.

I'm not crazy about the music in the hallway and at breakfast.
In a time when prices keep jumping higher and higher, It's good to know that you can still find accommodations at a reasonable price. And a bonus – the staff is very nice.

We didn’t like the restaurant as it never had any meals available which were in the online menu. Also the breakfast buffet was terrible. Omelets and sausages were cold and the cakes were so hard and tasted very bad. Only the coffees were decent.
Location was very convenient as it was right in front of Lamezia Terme Centrale train station. The room was spacious and was clean.

Location was excellent across from train station, room and bathroom was clean. Adjoining rooms with common entry for our children. Reception organised local taxi for us before 4am as there were none at station at that hour. Trip to airport

Restaurant:Breakfast was sub standard,scrambled eggs and sausages cold, only canned fruit. Dinner was horrible... Would have rated the hotel as excellent if not for the restaurant and the expensive Hotel parking.
The room I had was renovated and very comfy! Big room and bathroom Appreciated the fridge and the kettle.
