Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe hallways were a little dull. Breakfast was a little hit and miss.
The location was lovely - right on the port the rooms were a good size and we had very nice large terraces. The evening meal was very nice - especially the spaghettoni

United KingdomWe travel with 6 electrical items that need USB connections for overnight charging. We also carry a number of cables and adapters to facilitate charging. Unfortunately our huge splendid room had no spare power sockets near the bed and only 1 socket in the bathroom. This meant I had to unplug the bedside lights to enable charging. In 2025 not only should there be spare bedside sockets, there should be provision for USB charging ports. We were not particularly hungry that evening and nothing on the hotel menu was "calling out to us". This meant we had to leave the huge and inviting comfort of the hotel and go exploring off site. The drive way was completely unlit and quite awkward to walk down to the roadway. Then walking towards town there is no path, so you have to walk on the edge of the road, around a blind bend in total darkness. Fortunately our risk was rewarded and we found an excellent bar perched above the marina and enjoyed very good, cheap snacks and a couple of drinks. What a shame the hotel does not try to better serve people that do not want a full, and fully priced, meal. We enjoyed our overnight stay, but the terrific premises deserve a bit more thoughtful understanding of what its guests need.
The interior of the hotel is both spacious and visually stunning. This was also true of our room. Breakfast was quite good, a good selection and once again spacious and attractive. However who ever lays out the buffet ought to try thinking what people need. Running out of cutlery and plates is silly and placing milk 10 metres from coffee is plain silly.

CanadaDrinks at the pool bar were priced a little higher than we expected for this kind of establishment.
Large bedroom and bathroom. Facility was aging but clean and reminded us of a pensione from years gone by. Pool was clean and refreshing and bathing caps were not needed like some facilities at this price point. We did rent pool towels for 2 euros each. Dinner was tasty and well priced. Good value for money.

DenmarkIt’s not the property’s responsibility, but although the town is within walking distance, there is no easy and comfortable footpath from the hotel (there is no sidewalk on some parts of the road, so it can be a bit stressful with all the speeding cars).
Clean and spacious room, big balcony with view over the harbour. Comfortable beds and pillows, well functioning air condition. Good breakfast, nice pool area. Easy and free parking on site.

United StatesThe only thing is that the bed was very uncomfortable and the room decorations are pretty outdated and poor lighting. Doesn't match the rest of the resorts look. Tiny Shower, very hard to move in and I'm short. Also, the room didn't have a coffee/Nespresso machine. The abandoned homes and no sidewalks in some areas where cars come flying by...takes away from this very tiny town. More than a day or 2 and you run out of things to do unless you travel to other areas. No many shopping or restaurant options in the area as well.
We loved the grounds of this place, very well maintained and beautiful. Pool was very nice and big. Cabana's were nice but they should get towel sheets for the mattress on them. We came end of June and it was NOT crowded at all, really enjoyed that. The restaurant is nice, with good options....we even saw a beautiful sweet Fox come on ground. Everyone who worked there were all very nice and helpful. We got really sick and the staff was so attentive to us. The rooms are a nice size with decent balconies. Breakfast was amazing...huge selection and even gluten free options. (the kitchen also serves GF pasta) No bikes are provided but since its really hill'y there, I dont think you would want to ride unless you're an expert. You see the water from the hotel and there are day excursions you can do.

United KingdomThe syle of the common areas is very confused - downstairs is quite nice inside but upstairs the corridoors are very odd and cheap looking, the room is large but lacking in style, brown covers and cushions look very dated, no kettle, and have to pay for bottle water which seems abit cheap of them. The breakfast is basic but works.
Good size room with a lovely view of the port. Great pool area with nice lounging spaces and restuarant.

AustraliaNothing - everything was fine!
What a lovely hotel! Check in was effortless, the furniture and decor was quirky (eclectic?). We had a room with a sunny, private balcony (good for drying washing!) Comfortable bed, spacious room. We chose to have dinner at the hotel. Great decision! a wide menu, sumptuous meals, dining out on the balcony. Breakfast was also on the balcony - lovely! Wide selection, Staff were extremely attentive. We did not use the pool (not quite warm enough), but the pool area was very appealling! Free parking on site was also a bonus!
