United KingdomPool was busy and even though there was a sign saying dont reserve sun beds with towels people did so you had to otherwise no where to sit. Bed was a touch hard for my liking but all in all good.
The hotel, staff, and location were excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning. Shuttle down into Sorrento was great.

IrelandWe received a warm welcome back from Gloria & her team at the Hermitage. We had a lovely sea view room with great balcony space and fabulous views over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. Appreciated the addition of USB points this time. We enjoyed breakfast and lunches by the pool. Staff were professional and attentive to any requests. We revisited some of our favourite restaurants a short walk away in Sant’ Agata. Day trips were booked prior to arrival and during our stay, all done hassle free. Thank you Grand Hermitage Team once again for another memorable stay.

Beautiful hotel in the hills of Sorrento with fantastic views of Mount Vesuvius.Personnel extremely helpful and warm. Great food at reasonable prices in hotel restaurant. Day tours booked via hotel, no stress. Great shuttle service provided free of charge from hotel to Sorrento at various times of the day and back. Just had to book via reception. Big thankyou to you all, for looking after us so well.

SerbiaI absolutely loved my stay here! The highlight was definitely the balcony — the view was stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. It overlooked the city/sea/mountains (adjust based on your trip), and it was the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The space is comfortable and well-equipped, making it an ideal choice for a cozy getaway.

United KingdomSadly woken up very early by noisy guests (sound travels far and not really soundproofed doors) The room had a mini fridge but sadly no water present… in all the places we have stayed in, there was at least a small bottle of water. This claims to be a 4 Star hotel, this should not be only because of its location. The team welcoming us upon arrival was very professional and couldn’t have been more helpful, unlike the team in the following day - they were quite cold and very defensive when I asked about the water. I was told: ‘I have travelled and it’s not something you find in a room…’ Well, I have also travelled extensively and also ran a luxury development in the Caribbean and would have never dreamed of dealing with a simple request like this. Don’t think we will visit again…

United KingdomThe only thing I’d comment on is I wish they’d offer a later shuttle bus back from Sorrento up to the hotel, as it’d be great to not have to rely on the public buses or taxis. The food for lunch/dinner was also a little expensive compared to the local places.
Rooms were clean, gorgeous pool, regular bus shuttle down to Sorrento, super helpful and friendly staff. The location was great too with a cute village about a 5 minute walk away with restaurants and bars. The hotel breakfast was excellent too.

United KingdomThe bed's were rock hard and the pillows way too soft. We all had sore backs afterwards. It really was a problem.
The view was great, the staff were great, the food was amazing. The included breakfast was really, really good, and we had dinner in the hotel on a few nights and it was outstanding quality (as was the local wine). The swimming pool was a nice size and depth. The location was very good - we took a risk on staying outside and beyonf Sorento and it was a great deicision, with a free shuttle bus if needed, and numerous excursions available.

The view from the hotel was spectacular! We enjoyed using the pool facilities and relaxing on the sun beds. The staff were excellent - they were very friendly and super flexible with our needs. The room was comfortable and had a wonderful view overlooking the pool and mountains. The driver of the shuttle bus was good as well and it was free!
