ItalyStaff at restaurant are not bvery friendly and professional. Pitty because the maitre is trying hard to be polite with the guests. The waitees instead are not so motivated. Staff at the pool same thing. The food at restaurant is not in linewith the rest of the hotel. The menu is not interesting, very basic. Dishes are not well coocked, seasoned and not even good to look at. Real shame because in such a location they could do way better.
The place is great. Very beautiful green areas and gardens. Nice buildings. Not too beautiful rooms, very old style and need some refurbishing. Also some things are missing, like an iron and a phone to call reception. There is no room service apparently. Friendly staff at hotel. Less friendly at the pool and restaurant.

United Arab EmiratesLocating the room was a challenge as it’s as a maze. Mattress was not very comfortable. The king/queen bed is two beds connected so you can feel the split line in between. No sign for do not disturb and housekeeping was knocking the door on the morning though we didn’t want to clean the room. Breakfast was limited options. Furniture a bit old. The shower room in the bathroom was very tiny. There were some spider webs in the bathroom and some insects coming in to the room. We booked 3 rooms but had to change one of them as wifi wasn’t working there. The children below 18 were charged as adults though it was mentioned they stay free and hotel charged them as adults since they are sharing the rooms. However, provided discounts of 64 euros although were not supposed to be charged.
Peaceful and quiet. Location is good for visiting Gardaland. Staff were very friendly and helpful

GermanyBreakfast was good but repetitive after a few days. Coffee machines were very slow causing a wait very often. Service at the restaurant in the golf club house was often chaotic.
Interesting architecture with a rather rambling layout. It took a while to find our way around and there is often not a direct route to where you want to go. We got an upgrade to a small apartment with kitchen but some things were missing (kitchen towels, dish soap). Bed was a bit firm but OK. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Nice pool area for lap swimming. Garage parking was convenient.
