Perfect location to explore old town Sassi, we woke up in the middle of one of the most beautiful cities. Our host Emanuele was very friendly and helpful. The place has high ceilings and is very spacy. Next time we will come for a few days more.

The location and view from the balcony was dreamy, right in the heart of Matera and close to everything. The apartment was spacious, had beautiful high ceilings and was tastefully decorated. The host was so helpful and accommodating.

Sleeping in the heart of Sassi is wonderful, and the view from the terrace is incredible! A quiet and peaceful place with an authentic feel of the old part of the city. The height in the living room is impressive, and the house is spacious!

We stayed one night at this incredible house in the very heart of Matera, right at the top center of the Sassi area — the most iconic and beautiful part of the city. From the outside, you’re surrounded by the charm and history of the ancient stone dwellings, but step inside and you’ll find a completely brand-new, modern interior with every accessory and comfort you could want. The house is surprisingly large, spacious, and beautifully designed, combining old-world atmosphere with modern luxury. And the view — truly the BEST in Matera! We couldn’t stop admiring the panorama over the Sassi, especially at sunrise and sunset. I can confidently say this was one of the best accommodations we’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommended!

Very minor, but an addition of a small coffee table and the option of more ambient lighting in the living room would have been even better. The bedroom had wonderful ambient lighting options, though!

Very friendly and communicative host, including great advice for parking, along with clearly communicating when they'd be changing the towels / sheets, which they did twice through my week's stay. Overall fantastic service, a lovely apartment in a fantastic central location for the Sassi.

The apartment is exceptionally clean, modernly furnished, and in a great location, perfect for exploring the surroundings. The host is kind and helpful, and the key pickup was quick and easy. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and carefree stay!

The property is in a fantastic location set within the Sassi! Go onto the balcony and receive a great view of the Sassi above and around you. Very spacious and modern property. Great location from which to set out and explore the Sassi and Matera!

Our host was very welcoming and responsive, giving us quite a few useful tips on what to visit and where to eat during our brief visit. Additionally, the flat had everything we needed and stunning views as a bonus, being located in the very heart of the Sassi di Matera.

The best place I've found in Italy in 3 trips. A few steps from the entrance to the old town. Great view, very quiet. Close to restaurants and cafes. Perfect place to start a walk around the Sassi. Apartment with a unique atmosphere. Clean, efficient air conditioning.

The apartment is amazing, it has a beautiful atmosphere, with the high ceilings and an amazing view from the balcony! Also the location is very good, it's in the old historic town and in 2 min you can climb some stairs and get in the busy upper area. We found a free parking place not far, guided by the owner, and he also has some suggestions for a garage. He was so kind to give us very good tips about what to visit in our short time! Loved it and we'll be back for sure!

Downstairs was reasonably cool. However unfortunately our stay coincided with high temperatures and it was very hot upstairs with no air con so we did find it difficult to sleep with the heat and humidity.

Spacious apartment in absolutely the best position, right in the centre of Sassi. The views are absolutely amazing. When you open the door to the balcony in the morning you almost need to pinch yourself! The host was super helpful both with helping us locate the apartment (which is tricky in the Sassi,) and with advice on what we needed to see and how best to go about it. Large comfortable bed with good pillows. Very good value for money in the heart of Sassi.
