Our stay at Gheba Suites was absolutely perfect! The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better. Gaetano was a wonderful host - welcoming, attentive, and full of great recommendations on where to go and eat. Every morning, Maria prepared us a delicious breakfast, always served with kindness and a smile. We truly loved being there and are so grateful to both Gaetano and Maria for making our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Gheba Suites is in a great location, close to the stairs to go down to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Maria (who works there) was a beautiful lady and always had a smile on her face. She made us daily breakfast which was different everyday. Couldn’t thank Maria enough.

The proprietor - Gaetano Ercolano - was a super host. Welcoming, helpful, and full of local information. He set out a wonderful breakfast spread fit for six people - but only for the two of us. An extra bonus - he is evidently well known in the area. He suggested we simply mention his name and we could get into otherwise "invitation only" locales, which we did! We were seated right away at a nearby 5 star hotel bar with a fantastic view, which ostensibly was "full" until we mentioned his name.

This is simply an exceptional place to stay. The warmth of the welcome from our host. Gaetano was genuine and incredibly helpful. He briefed us immediately on what we should see, where we should eat and how his lovely apartment worked. His house manager, Maria, was extraordinary in her care and presentation of our delicious breakfast. I had a broken wrist and our host made every effort to make my life as easy as possible. The location of the apartment is fabulous, tucked away from the craziness of tourists. The decor is bright, quirky and incredibly Italian, with blues and yellows that make you feel happy and ready to enjoy a holiday. What to find this place is. Can’t recommend it highly enough for all ages. I did have to take care with the steps, but that’s a small thing in such delightful surroundings.

Firstly, we were given the ability to drop our bags off early as our ferry arrived at approx 11.30. However, our room was ready when we arrived, which was an added bonus. Gaetano met us in the street and directed us to the property and helped with our luggage. The room was clean and spacious, especially the bathroom, which are often small and pokey. We were given suggestions of places to eat and visit. Breakfast is more than you can eat, consisting of fruit, toast, croissants, coffee, juice etc. On one of the mornings, we were given a taste of Gaetano's home grown tomatoes with local mozzarella cheese (Caprese). There was fresh water in our rooms every day. Whilst there is a common room where breakfast is served to you, there is also a kettle in your room for tea etc. and a fridge for any personal food you would like to store. The Gheba apartments are in a great location and close to shops and bus stops etc. Gaetano, even called a taxi on our behalf, to take our luggage down to the pier. If you don't have luggage you can walk along the waterfront and then take the lift up to the garden, but as we had large items of luggage it was a bit difficult to manage along the boardwalk. The cost of the taxi was only 20 Eur, and they picked us up in front of the hotel right next to our apartment. All in all, it was a great place to stay and we would recommend to anyone. I felt that the apartment was reasonably priced and great value for the service and the care taken by Gaetano and his staff. This is one of the better apartments in which we have we have stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at these apartments! They were very cozy, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. Our host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit, which really made our trip special. What truly stood out was the kindness of both him and his wife—despite it being a national holiday, they went out of their way to prepare breakfast for us. That personal touch made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended—we would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Gaetano and Maria were exceptional. The room we stayed in was spacious, with a large bathroom. It was very clean and had ample storage space, so we were able to spread out our belongings comfortably without having to live out of our suitcases. Gheba Suites is right in the center of Sorrento, so everything—from the beach to the marina to Centro Storico—was easily accessible on foot.

Gaetano and Maria went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We loved their warmth and excellent recommendations throughout the town. The location is FANTASTIC and close to everything, right in the center, we walked everywhere. The rooms, bathroom, and common atea are spacious and recently renovated. Gaetano met us personally when we arrived and we enjoyed our conversations with him throughout the visit. Overall, a very comfortable and personalized stay that we would love to return to!

The lights were a little complicated but that was minimal to the rest of the experience.

The location was fantastic and right in the heart of Sorrento. The room and common area had a beautiful modern design. We also enjoyed the yummy breakfast that was served each morning. Daniela and Gaetano were easy to communicate with and made our stay so easy. Definitely recommend!

This is a really beautiful accommodation, spacious and well-appointed. The location couldn’t be more central yet the apartment is not on a crowded street so you do get away from the crowds. Very comfortable.

That we could not stay longer

My mom and I loved loved everything about this place. The room was so beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed. It was spacious and just perfect. The fresh coffee and breakfast every morning was amazing. Fresh mozarella for breakfast I mean imagine that. The location was superb. We walked everywhere and beauty just surrounded us. Gaetano was the best host and one of the most incredible people we have ever met. He could not do enough for us. made sure we sorted for the day. Made us sandwiches to take with us when we left. Gaetano you stole our hearts. Thank you for everything you did for us and making Sorrento so special for us. You are a true gentleman with the softest heart. We will never stay at another place ever again when visiting Sorrento.
