Spent a lovely and comfortable few days here, on a short trip to do some hikes. This is a lovely small hotel, and our hosts could not have been more helpful or friendly. Would definitely recommend. They even have a resident cat called Mitzi, who chooses to stay there long-term. :-)

Great location, friendly staff, very clean, good ski storage room, great breakfast with lots of options. Virtually ski in ski out, located beside both slopes and lifts. Great bars and restaurants are very close, but still quiet at night.

    Nothing realy.

A very nice and familiar hotel in lovely Selva. We had two rooms, one for me and my wife and one for our daughter. We stayed for three nights and had a very stay. The couple running the hotel were helpful. The rooms were very fresh and clean. The balconies were perfect to have with the nice weather and beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was lovely with a lot of things to chose from. Free parking outside the hotel.

    Nothing really

The rooms were spotlessly clean, the breakfast was plentiful and as a bonus - we were given free tickets to use the bus! It is in a fantastic location which is extremely accessible to the west of the dolomites. The village itself has a good range of bars, restaurants etc. The owners were absolutely lovely and so helpful. I would not hesitate to book this again. Thank you so much for a lovely three nights.

    Nothing. It was excellent.

Clean, well-appointed, great location and good value for money.

THE RUDE AND UNPLEASANT OWNERS!!! Breakfast finishes at 9.30am. When we arrived around 9am, a number of items from the buffet were gone and not automatically replenished. I did ask on one occasion and the owner appeared quite put out by my request and did so begrudgingly. Latest time for check out is 9.30am, that is ridiculously early whilst away on holiday. They did let us stay until “10am latest!” to finish packing our stuff, but we had to rush breakfast and leave the breakfast room with indigestion! Most outrageously of all was the rudeness and indignation we suffered when we left the property. We wanted to stay in the hotel grounds until 11.30am before we needed to set off on our drive back to Innsbruck Airport for our flight home. The male owner did begrudgingly allow us to park our car in their car park until that time and we walked into town to have a coffee and kill a little time. When we returned to our car, we needed to use the lavatory before we set off for our long drive, but the hotel door was locked and we no longer had a access card key to enter the hotel to use the toilet in the common parts. We rang the door bell, but nobody answered and we assumed the owners had left (reception operated around the hours of 7.30am to 10.30am and then 3.30pm to 6.30pm only), so we asked another guest outside at the time to release the front door for us. To our surprise, we were then accosted by the lady owner who very curtly and abruptly said, “How did you get in?!”. I explained that another guest opened the door for us so we could use the toilet. She then dashed off in an apparent rage infuriated by our reasonable actions, brushing past my daughter on the stairs. We were both taken aback and left quite upset by the unpleasant experience. It appeared that once we had to check out the hotel earlier than suited us after being paying guests for 4 days, we were then ‘persona non gratis’ and unwelcome to remain within the hotel and use the toilet facilities.

    Property response:

So far we have accepted all reviews, whether very good or not so good, without comment because we value and respect everyone's opinion. You are the first to get us to answer your review because we do not accept untruths. The facts: Check-in and check-out times are already known when booking, you are free not to make the booking if you do not agree with these times. Nevertheless, we send this information again a few days bevor arrival. When you checked in, you asked if you could park the car until around 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the day of departure, and we agreed to this. You asked the same thing again on the day of departure, and again we gave you a positive answer. You also asked me to print a flight ticket for your daughter, i dit it. You asked if your check-out could be a little later, we left you the room until 10 a.m. According to your statements, you were used to the service of a 5 star hotel in Selva, of course we cannot offer this to you as a 3 star B&B, that is not our claim. Please understand that our chambermaid must also be able to thoroughly clean all rooms on the day of departure for the next guests. Breakfast: Our buffet is stocked with everything up to the last guest. If something is running low, we ask the last breakfast guests if we can add anything else. For sustainability reasons, we avoid completely refilling the buffet, otherwise we would have to throw away what is left. For example, my wife asked you if you would like some more scrambled eggs or some more cold cuts. On the day of departure you asked me if you could have more fruit salad (there was still some at the buffet). Unfortunately, my English isn't always that perfect, so I only understood what you wanted the second time I asked. I then immediately complied with your request and prepared another fresh fruit salad especially for you. Regarding the need to use our toilet after check-out: when you check-out you also return the key cards and therefore of course you have no longer access to the house. My wife couldn't know that you asked other guests to open the front door for you (!!), so she was rightly surprised to find you still in the house at 11.30. No comment on your remaining allegations. Everything was modern and efficient, yet friendly. Good location.

The extra charge for taking a snack from breakfast for later. This is not because it wrong to pay, but because it seems normal practice to take something for later from the breakfast table. Some places even give you a paper bag to put the food in. I will add that I obeyed the rule add did not take food off the property.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Selva, very short walk to all the restaurants etc Great town and good base if exploring more of the Dolomites (which you definitely should if here in summer!) Small room but also has a balcony overlooking the mountains so great views! Comfortable bed. The breakfast was great - boiled eggs cooked to order and continental style buffet The hosts are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area so helped with any questions we had - as it was our first time in the dolomites this was very much appreciated!

No air con or fan - we were there in June and the weather was very warm and unfortunately so was the room. We had the balcony door open to cool it down so that helped but definitely could’ve done with air con

The room is not so big, but quite new and delicate. Plenty of storage space. Excellent location. Very quiet. For skiers: only 150 meters to Costabella and another 150 m to Ciampinoi. Ski in (ends 10 meters from door), but best to walk a little for ski out. Locked ski room with drying of boots. Good parking. Breakfast is better than most. Good wifi. No elevator, but no problem for me. Good value for money also.

I would have preferred a square desk for work instead of round coffee table. Perhaps a tad softer mattress, but no problem.

The breakfast was really amazing. The home made jams were excellent and my wife appreciated the savory breakfast options. The room felt brand new and was very clean. We truly appreciated the details like the gummy bears sweets. The room was cleaned daily. The hosts gave us helpful directions and recommendations.
