Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Garni Cremona has a superb location, very close to the train station, plus near a supermarket. The room was well-furnished, we stayed 4 nights and they had room service every day + changing towels after the second day, which we really appreciated. Great amount of bread, spreads, cheese and drinks for the breakfasts. Last but not least, the owners were friendly, they also let us store our bags after check-out for a brief city stroll and use the bathrooms when we came back to collect the bags. Everything made the place amazing value for money!

Perfect location: one step to the train station. Spacious, clean, and comfortable room with balcony, where we could enjoy sunshine and fresh air. (There was little view to the mountain from our balcony, but nothibg is to complain because one can have a very beautiful view to the Plose mountain just in front of the gate of the buiding!) Very delicious breakfast. Extremly kind hosts. Garni Cremona provided my girlfriend and me with a perfect base for our vacation!

ChinaThis is one of the most convenient and cost-effective hotels in Brixen. It is highly recommended for people who travel by public transport to stay here. It's only a 3-4 minute walk from the bus terminal and train station, making it extremely convenient to reach any attraction. Moreover, after a tiring day of traveling, you can pop up to the supermarket upstairs to buy water or head to the nearby Mosi for a hamburger. What's more, the rooms are exceptionally clean—cleaner than even Ji Hotels back in China, one could say—with not a single water stain on the faucets. Each room also has a small balcony. The owner is very warm and responsive to all needs; they asked if I needed a kettle or a hair dryer and even provided a free bus card. At first, I didn't think much of this hotel from the pictures and felt a bit uneasy, but after checking in, I realized it's the best hotel I've chosen. I recommend it to everyone!

NetherlandsAt night the outdoor temperature drops sufficiently to lower the room temperature, however the door to the balcony can not be tilted so either you don't mind sleeping with the door open or it stays pretty warm in the room. Unfortunately the room doesn't have airconditioning. Spaces to park are limited, but we didn't have any trouble parking our car as it seems many guests arrive by public transport.
Location is great: 2 minutes from train and busstop. You can easily travel around using public transportation with the complementary Brixen card. Great value for money. One of the cheapest accommodations close to the city center and good breakfast.

IndiaWould be nice to have a kettle in the room. The room isn't massive, but we were mostly out for the day, and it's absolutely fine for a few nights.
Excellent location, right by the main bus stop and train station. And pharmacy, supermarket and cafeteria in the same complex. Lovely breakfast of bread, jams, yoghurt, ham, cheese, tea/coffee, etc. Very easy to travel around.

SwitzerlandCarpet needs cleaning to eliminate the mildewy dirty odor. Twice a year carpet cleaning would be more than adequate. Bathroom could use a thorough bleach cleaning because there was a constant odor. Had to close the bathroom door when not in use. A mini-frig would have been perfect to keep our drinks cold as it was a HOT weekend. No AC unit so the nights were warm. It would be nice if the patio door or windows have screens so that we could leave them open at night to stay cool during the Summer.
Owner was very responsive to our questions, friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Room was small (approx. 15 sq. m) but functional. Room was adequately clean. Bathroom was roomy, not compact. Location was perfect for the hiking activities that we planned. WiFi was good and stable. Plenty of parking spots available outside of the building during our stay. Good size grocery store below at street level. Great Bakery next door. Good Kebab across the street. Great Price for the location and room size. We would definitely stay again when visiting the Dolomites!

IndiaThere was no fridge and electric kettle. Even if that's not possible to provide in the rooms, at least a common fridge and microwave / electric kettle should have been there for everyone. We expected some instant tea/ coffee to start the day, that was missing otherwise it's a nice and peaceful hotel.
The location is very near to the train station and bus stop. Also we got bressanone card which covered all the travel expenses in south Tyrol. So that was awesome. Room was also clean and specious. There was also a big supermarket underground, easy for us to grab the snacks, juices etc. we loved our stay.
