The only one thing I didn’t like that under the bad was very dirty .

Our room was good , the staff was very friendly, breakfast was also good . The location is ok , if you’re travelling with the kid it’s very hard to walk with the stroller .

My room was a little bit opposite of what "cosy" is, the feeling was like the furniture was placed with not much care. No carpet (but nice traditional floor is there – i understand). Windows curtains were washed long ago i guess (greyish). There is also some noise from street/road outside – if you like calm, it can be not great for you.

English speaking helpful lady. I also really appreciated the possibility of parking spot there (billed extra). The garden is also handy and can delight you with a fresh air place for planning time or morning tea/coffee. Room is looking historically original (ceiling paintings, mosaic floor, windows).

A wonderful old building that admittedly did some some updating but the patina of age lent it some character.

We had a toilet a bit away from the room with our own key passing by the reception. There was bugs in the room. Breakfast needed more stuff.

The parking is very inconvenient, with little space available. The breakfast is nothing special. The building is rather old.

The location near the city centre is definitely the most positive aspect. The availability of on-site parking is also a plus.

Some of the facilities are pretty aged - we needed to get help to get hot water as it wasn't working when we tried to have a shower (the staff helped out right away to sort it out).

The staff here were incredibly friendly, helping us with parking. Our room was huge and we walked straight out to breakfast (which was excellent!). For the money, it is great value as it gets you to the city very quickly and is pretty easy to reach by car. We saw reviews about the noise, but it wasn't a bit issue for us - I think it is worth considering that it is an older building in a busy area so don't expect a new noise-proof room, you will hear cars and bikes (some quite noisy) going by. I have to mention the breakfast again, they provided really nice options including fresh pastries, yoghurt etc.

I didn't really like the bathroom, it was old-fashioned and had a number of issues with it. The shower has the potential to cause injury as it was in tiles and very slippery, there was a paper towel stuffed into a random hole in the tiles. The toilet constantly made noise and the door didn't shut. One oversight was that the bathroom had a ceiling made smaller the window's shutter didn't cover the light coming from the outside. The property also wasn't the cleanest with a lot of dust on top of the wardrobe (as I hung a coat off the top of it to dry). One thing the property could consider is a higher-watt bulb in the main light to brighten it up a bit.

The hotel staff were really friendly and welcoming and the hotel really takes its time to make guests feel welcome. Free mints, breakfast room was able to be used and snacks taken from it all day long. The room was delightful with the painted ceiling and the old-fashioned nature of it really added to the atmosphere. A number of people complained about the windows being thin, which was the case but I think any thickness of windows wouldn't keep the large number of motorcycles at bay! The breakfast was small but adequate. A little bit of a walk into the centre but I didn't mind that. I really enjoyed my stay.

We stayed downstairs right next to the breakfast room and were woke up every morning. They should build a permanent wall between the room and the breakfast hall. It makes you feel rather inconfortable.

The dirty bathtub.

Bathroom is very dirty, the bathtub was not washed. The staff Miss Claire who welcome us is very very helpful and polite. Breakfast is correct. The mattresses are comfortable but the bed structure makes some noise, which is quite annoying.

The room is very old fashioned but very clean. The Road to the Hotel is very Hard to go with luggage. If you are old it is very tirey.

Room is Fine, clean and enough. Breakfast is perfect and you can take all the time Coffee and biscuits. İ came late first night and it is very good to have Coffee. They sent me the same day how can i get in the room at night. You can drink everything in your rooms fridge they are all free. It is very good.

Nothing really everything was good, but view from window was over car parking area, but this didn't spoil our stay as we could have sat out in the garden which was lovely.

Room was very spacious, beds were comfortable, shower was good. staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely superb -massive choice of foods. garden was lovely. location was very convenient for the centre of Genoa. Nice and clean. Building is very beautiful old colonial style (could do with a little TLC but still lovely), would definitely recommend.

Many issues with the facilities : - Room door open straigh on the breakfast room. - Room door wasnt closing and opening properly. - The bed was fixed... - The shower head was totaly broken... plus mold on the shower... It's a really shame cause the room is beautiful. Some details aren't acceptable for the price of the night.

The staff ! The boss was very welcoming, very helpfull. And the staff was so nice. Breakfast was very good.
