How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room was on first floor, with reception/entrance on second floor - to get to room had to climb down extremely narrow spiral staircase. Not a huge problem, but could be an issue for someone with accessibility issues/people coming home from a late night out.
Fantastic location, close to metro station, supermarkets and some local restaurants/coffee shops. Great value for money - single room with private bathroom and fan perfect for solo traveller on budget. Safe neighbourhood. Reception open 24/7 with friendly staff. Good restaurant outside of hotel, plus fantastic local coffee shop only 2minute walk away (check out Peonia Cafe on Viale Aretusa).

Our room was one floor above the reception desk, which was a bit of a surprise. We could exit via the building's staircase normally, but returning had to pass the reception desk, and then take a winding, narrow, and steep staircase to the floor above... a very strange arrangement.
There's a delicious pizzeria in the same building, highly recommended! It's a short walk to the stadium. It's also very close to the metro station. The room itself is adequate and as described.

The area could have been better, but that’s my own fault. Obviously a personal bathroom would be nice, but you get what you pay for.
The staff and vibe was the highlight for me, felt like I was really travelling. Shared bathroom was kept clean and far more functional than I imagined, room was very nice with a beautiful deck. Area was pretty although not super convenient. Staff was incredible.

Not very good dealing with noise, you can hear everything your neighbours are doing.
A nice and new hotel room, very close to the metro station. The room had a shower in it.

The winding staircase between the floors are narrow and can be challenging for some people.
The location - quiet area close, 2-min walk to the metro station. The stuff was friendly. Room was ok, reasonable size. WC was clean.

The price was bit high, 90 euros, for a 1 star hotel.
Location not far from San Siro, main reason for my trip. Good transport around the area. Basic and simple. Ok for quick nightstop, worked for what I needed.

Staff were friendly. Rooms were nice, had a small balcony to look out from. Beds were comfortable. Good value overall, would stay here again.

There is no sound proofing on the doors, so you hear people talking, knocking on doors on other rooms and such

the bed was a bit short for my height of 193 cm

Great place, close to the metro station. Very easy to go downtown. Safe and nice neighborhood. Unfortunately, there is no direct entrance to the first flor, therefore, you need to go to the second flor entrance, and come down some very uncomfortable stairs. Also, coffee is upon request and no breakfast is served.

Facilities are a little bit simply and old. If you decide to stay here always keep your sleepers with you. But it's not a big problem. Cleanness was more important than facilities. Thank you.
Clean and quiet room. It has good location, you need just five minutes walking to the metro station gambara and you need max 15 minutes till main attractions. Staff are very kind and always ready to help and give you wise advises.

Building was pretty old, but everything was clean and functional.
