How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The bed sheets and towels had a strong smell on vinegar, which could be overwhelming at times and the walls are super thin, I woke up to children crying in the night from another room and other guest slamming doors but nothing some ear plugs didnt fix.
Great location, 10min walk from the train station and 5 mins to the beach. Bed was comfy, and the staff were wonderful.

Just the walls was thin and in night time about 3 o'clock we can hear everything from neighbours it was too loud

Showering was a bit tricky because water was leaking through the sliding door. A mini fridge would have been great, to keep water cooler in the hot weather, otherwise everything was lovely.
Our stay was great. We were close to the beach, had lovely cafés, shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The room was clean, we had a nice balcony as well. I would definitely highlight the staff, they were amazing and kind, helpful.

The bugs were overly friendly. Especially in the shower. And I like my showers private.

Not happy with the breakfast , they provide complete plate but everyday we can’t eat the same , because I choose one plate for each day but all same, it was boring to eat

These miscommunications and lack of understanding about the European Permanent Resident Document left me feeling frustrated and discouraged. The requirement for a driving license, which I was told had expired, further added to my confusion and disappointment. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, the staff continued to be unhelpful and uncommunicative, leading me to believe that my documents were of no value in obtaining a room. It was only after several minutes and speaking with a manager that I discovered the true reason for their confusion, leaving me feeling disappointed and saddened by the lack of clarity and understanding.

In the bathroom, it would be convenient to have a cloth for the floor so that we can wipe the floor after the shower.
The food was enough. I was surprised by the concept of the "breakfast plate". There was just a misunderstanding of the word "toast". When for us it means baked bread, but for the locals, toast is just bread, without baking. Thanks to the helpful staff, we also solved this little misunderstanding. The staff was always friendly and helpful in other areas as well.

The hotel walls are not soundproof at all. I wasn't lucky enough to wake up to some conflict between the guests and woman screaming during my last night when I had to get up early.
Wonderful location, friendly stuff, every day cleaning, good abundant breakfast, cozy room with all needed facilities.

Small issues where shower didn’t heat up at some points and there wasn’t a holder for the loo roll.
Room was great and amazing value for money. The room was very clean and staff were very welcoming.
