Traveling around Puglia, we wanted to book typical accommodation, rather than a hotel. And Il Gabellota Resort was excellent choice. It is located in a quiet area and only 15 min walk to the center of beautiful Alberobello. Big parking is placed within the complex and is safe. Staff is very nice and professional. This complex has amazing exterior, they paid attention to all details, with lots of green area, trees, flowers and even turtles 😊 Rooms are located in separate units, with sitting area in front of each room. There is also lots of sitting areas around complex. Pool area is also very nice. Rooms and bathroom are so nice, specious, clean, comfortable bed, with mini bar and AC. Breakfast served is very good with great choice of food, sweets and fruits. In case we are back to Puglia, we are definitely coming back.

A charming little gem. Rooms are super cute, nicely decorated. With a homey feel. Quite and relaxed atmosphere. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast has nice selection, good coffee. Easy walking distance of old town, easy access to roads. Friendly staff

A place worth staying! Location is great, just 10-15min walk from the town itself, which was definitely handy. The room was lovely and clean with all facilities you need. The staff were welcoming and always happy to assist. Breakfast could have been better but overall worth the money.

Everything was so perfect 🤩 The resort is like a fairytale in the night. It was always my dream to sleep in a trulli but this was more than I imagined. The staff was sooooo friendly! Everything you need you will find. At just a 10 min walk from the centre of Alberobello. I will come back next year 😍

My only feedback would be that the scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked.

The entire property is beautifully designed and well maintained, perfectly capturing the charm of Alberobello. It has a serene atmosphere and felt very safe, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and accommodating. We especially loved our spacious room, which was thoughtfully designed with ample storage and tasteful décor.

Nothing we did not like about this resort . Only comment would be taxis are in short supply .

This resort is an oasis of calm . It was such a relaxing place. Its only a few minutes walk to Alverobello , a beautiful place. Breakfast offered many delicious items. The surrounds are carefully dotted with old antiquetites and there are infamous trulli houses on site that you can stay in.

Staying in a wee converted trullo, fabulous brekkie, fabulous outdoor pool area in this resort with free car parking. Close to historical town of trulli. One evening there was a saxophonist playing outside with free Prosecco, very cool. Restful, peaceful

The only improvement could be the coffee at breakfast which was from machine and didn't taste that great.

We stayed for 5 nights and were very pleased with the accommodation. The room was big and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The resort itself was beautiful! Lots of lovely places to sit and relax and really well maintained. It created a really relaxing and chilled atmosphere. The location was great. Just a few minutes walk into the centre of Alberobello which is a beautiful place to spend the evenings. Parking access was easy in the good sized carpark . Breakfast was good and there was a reasonable choice on offer. I would have no hesitation to recommend this place.

It simply is out of a fairytale. Serene, tranquil environment. The trullo is magnificent, clean and comfortable. It's so sweet. This was the highlight of our stay in Puglia. The pool, the jacuzzi and breakfast were all great. Only 15 minutes walk from the famous Trulli. Wow wow wow. Thank you for our lovely stay!

It’s missing that touch of luxury and a more eco friendly feel. It would be great to see them using less single use plastic such as the mini bottles of shampoo / shower gel in the bathrooms. The processed food and juices at breakfast could be improved with home made options and the breakfast room made to feel less like a school dining room.

The property’s location is great as it’s outside of the main town so away from the tourist hussle but within an easy 15 min walk. The setting is beautiful, with a lovely pool area and the Trullo are gorgeous. Small but a little dated in their decor albeit in keeping with the style - the net curtains definitely need to go!

Loved the location as easy 15min walk to town, our 2 story trulli was truly beautiful, the pool was well set up with loungers and under cover chairs, great selection at breakfast and a special first night with Sax Live and free prosecco for 2hrs and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. 🤩

Only minor thing is that we had a late flight and asked if we could still chill by the pool until we got our transfer however we only allowed to stay until midday at the pool
