How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a wonderful experience staying at G&G FIRENZE SUITES B&B, perfectly located just steps from Santa Maria Novella Train Station, ideal for exploring Florence on foot. From the moment we arrived, Giusi and Giuseppe were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They are truly outstanding hosts who make you feel right at home. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was a highlight, freshly prepared each morning with great care, and a lovely way to start the day. The environment felt safe and peaceful, which added to our comfort, especially after long days exploring the city. Highly recommend this B&B for anyone visiting Florence: warm hospitality, excellent location, and a genuine Italian experience!

1. Very convenient location right in front of the train station, many train routes out of Florence to do day trips and to many places of interest within walking distance 2. There is a MacDonald’s next to it:) 3. There are many nice cafes and restaurants with 4.5-4.9 ratings nearby within walking distance 4. There is a supermarket around the corner to grab daily items if need 5. All the places of interests are within walking distance from the property with many good restaurants & cafes along the way 6. Property is within a residential / commercial estate that is accessed with multiple security access points leading to our unit proper. 👍for security. 7. Property is neat, clean, spotless and amenities in the room from safe, hair dryer, Mozzie repellent, coffee machine, kettle, coffee, tea, fridge, biscotti, complimentary water, free shampoo, soap, shower gel, body lotion with daily housekeeping is a very nice/thoughtful touch & very welcomed. Feels like being in a hotel. 8. Room is not too big but there’s plenty of storage. 9. Smart TV allows Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. 10. Room is modern, tasteful, well equipped like a good hotel room. 11.Giusi is a very good host - responsive to Wharsapp queries and messages, warm, friendly, very helpful and very accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage with her as there were a few hours of gap between our check out time and next destination. She was also very helpful with tips for moving around Florence. 12.Giuseppe was also very warm and helpful. 13.We had a good stay of a few nights with G & G👍

Absolutely Everything!!! Right across the street from the train station. Super clean fresh unit. Beautiful bathroom with large shower and great water pressure. Friendly, kind, personable and responsive host.

So cozy. Great location (so convenient). Sweetest accommodating woman. Clean & toiletries and great working utilities. Great bathroom. Couldn’t say more good things highly recommend. And for the price it is unbelievable.

Nothing really, just the fact that there was an ongoing construction on the ground floor but that's not the management's fault.
The room was spotless and fragrant and the host, Giusi, was simply the best. Very warm, caring, attentive, and intentional in delivering the best service. Her communication is excellent too. She gave helpful recommendations for sight-seeing and even helped us check if our train was on time. Very sincere host.

The hotel is right in front of the train station and near all the must see in Florence. There were some revocation going on the ground floor when we first arrive so it look a bit scary and elevator are a bit small. But the room itself are ok.

My room was spotless clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast is made fresh according to order. The room is also equipped with anything needed for the stay including a toothbrush and toothpaste and the mini bar is stovked up with various soft drinks and liquors at a very reasonable price.

Do take note the rooms are close to the train station and you can hear the noise from outside, this is however mitigated by complementary ear plugs that wait for you by the night stand.
The staff were super helpful, both via text and at the front desk. We were given tips and recommendations, and they stored our bags for half a day after check-out. The room is clean, the facilities feel new and the bed is comfortable.

Just sound from the next door room. But that was more due to the other guests.
The staff was great at communication and explaining how to get into the location. It was very secure and safe. They were super kind and gave amazing helpful tips. They were available for other questions. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Hello, we had an excellent reception at G&G FIRENZE SUITES by Mrs. GIOSI. This accommodation is a complete apartment in a residential building, not a hotel or hostel. The guest rooms (4) are beautifully and comfortably prepared and provide all the requirements for a hotel stay, in addition to an exceptional breakfast prepared by Mrs. Josie after taking the guests’ wishes the night before according to a pre-prepared form. She also provides a varied breakfast and hot drinks service. In addition to that, there is a daily room cleaning service. There is a place to park the car in the same building, but it is preferable for the car to be a van or a high-roofed one. The building enjoys a high degree of security, as the garage entrance opens at 7 am and closes at 7 pm. Guests can enter on foot from the street using the room key or enter by car using a special remote control provided to them during the stay. Entry to the building is done by a magnetic card and entry to the apartment is done using a specific code provided to guests during the stay. Mrs. Josie is also able to provide information. The guest is in important places in the city and in the Tuscany region in general and is cooperative with all love and sincerity. I wish her success, as it was an extremely enjoyable stay.
