I wish there had been paper towels to help clean up in the kitchen and dishwasher cleaning tabs. I bought some it was no big deal and perhaps I could have asked so maybe it was available?

The balconies and views were amazing! Everyone was very helpful and so nice! They came and tidied up every day and replaced towels everyday.

It was an old wooden cupboard kitchen and when you opened the doors it really smelt - just of old/fusty smell (like going into your nan's kitchen!). We chose not to use the items in it. The WiFi failed but reception kindly gave us a router (I think we were too far away from the main building) and then that worked fine.

We stayed in what I don't think was the main part of the property. After hauling ourselves and our luggage up to reception (steep walk/steps) we were then taken back down to a much lower area/building which was much closer to the new town/beach. The room we stayed in is very much old school Italian - basic but functional. It served us well for a family and had a small kitchen. Lovely fresh linen and waffle towels provided daily. AC was a bit rattly but worked :) Reception helpfully ordered a taxi for our departure. Thank you :)

No coffee machine in the rooms! But that's ok, made me go out and find some from the great cafes. If you don't like stairs, this hotel (and town) is not for you!

Incredible location. Halfway between the quaint town and the main street along the beach. Staff were very attentive and the room was nice. The hotel also gives you access to a private area on the beach with sun lounges.

I think the only thing we could have benefited from more is having a kettle in the room, but this is extremely minor. WiFi was a little patchy if I'm honest, not a strong signal a lot of the time. However, we didn't go there to use the WiFi, again, fairly minor.

The sunset view from the apartment balcony was simply incredible. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We got caught in a rail strike on arrival in Rome, and the owners tried their best to help us get to Sperlonga. The beach club staff were also very attentive and kept the area very clean. Lots to see and do in exploring the town, its hidden alleyways, and historic sites.

This is not about the hotel, which was fine, but it was nearly impossible to go to a decent restaurant in August, as they required reservations and they were all full. Perhaps the hotel staff could let people know in advance of their stay that eating out required much advance notice?

Sleeping upstairs on the mezzanine meant that coming down the stepladder in the night to use the bathroom was not very convenient. The rooms were said to be for four people but we booked 2 for the four of us because I thought they wouldn’t be big enough and I am very glad that I did because one would not have been big enough for all four of us (we are a family of four with two teenage daughters).

Location was perfect, it couldn’t have been better.

It did not bother us at all, but I can see how previous reviews say that it outdated and the kitchen could be more equipped. Also, be aware that there is a lot of steps. It may not be suitable for some people. Yet, this was still perfect for us but we were glad we upgraded to an apartment.

The location was fantastic. Not far from the beach, restaurants or shops. We were glad we decided to upgrade to an apartment as we had lots of space and an outstanding view. This was particularly great we went during a weekend of celebrations so there were plenty of fireworks. The staff were friendly but also were respectful of our privacy, including the cleaners. My favourite thing was the private beach with sun beds and an umbrella. I felt very relaxed and safe to leave my stuff by the bed.

The steps to the loft are very steep. And if you aren’t aware of the way Sperlonga is configured, you might be surprised by all the steps to get anywhere.
