How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast buffet could have been bigger with fruits and vegetables and more different things to eat. It is not easy to get to this part of Italy by public transport...
Loved the room with nice balcony and view. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Good price.

During my stay, there was a large group of individuals making lots of noise quite late into the evening even throughout the second floor hallways where my room was located. This broke my hopes of a quiet room where I could work during the evening. I can't really fault the hotel for this as it was more of a fault of the guests than the hotel, nor did I report it to the staff, but it did affect my stay quite a bit. If the hotel was proactive about controlling this however my rating would shoot up to a 10
The hotel provides an amazing stay at great value. The room is nice, clean, and spacious with comfortable beds. The location is obviously good, and having the breakfast come with the room truly elevates this hotel to another level.

No safe available in the hotel room
Great location near the beach. 30 min walk to Viareggio Centre and bus stop near the hotel. OK breakfast. Clean room with comfortable bed and AC. Friendly staff.

I didn't like the bed. It wasn't comfy and it was too warm to sleep on. The toilet seat wasn't clean enough. And the coffee was bad. Also prices fluctuate all the time - the room which I booked a week ago for 120 euro was available for 89 euro yesterday
Very nice location. I liked the breakfast which was included in the price.

The bathroom a little bit smaller.
The position close to promenade and sea. The reception girl very friendly and helpful. The room spacious and clean. The breakfast diversified and tastefully inclusiv salami, milk, croissant, cheese and so on....

Breakfast wasn't really good, coffee not up to Italian standards and big queue for it anyway.In our room the bidet was under the shower 😅
The staff was very friendly, nice and spoke many languages.

Parking situation is a little complicated just like everywhere in Versilia

Schools use this hotel for staying with around 30 youngsters.... Noise until 2 am, and nobody cares Shower is 70cm on 70cm, and all of the bathroom is simply too small

I booked for one night in August during a music festival so prices would be abnormaly high. But charging almost 300 € for a dirty bedroom (cups on the toilet were dirty, bed covers as well) that did not have all the lights functioning and a poor poor breakfast, without one option of fresh fruit or hot dishes besides boiled egg. Almost no variety and the bread was hard. Not fresh at all. Would not reccomend.

Absolutely no privacy, you could hear others guests sounds so clearly, there was a leaking pipe the whole night dripping between our heads. Breakfast was so poor, not even a boiled egg, only croissants, ham & cheese. For that price I would expect much better.

At weekends price is not relevant to the comfort/quality. 120 EUR is too much for this kind of room. Standard price 52 Eur is OK.
