How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was well!
The property is easy to get to from the train station where we arrived, an easy tram ride . Exit is walking distance from Florentia Boutique which was safe and I loved due to traveling with teenagers. Our place was cozy & we felt secure. Super clean! Our host helped us in every possible way, from making sure we had everything and giving us advice on food and places to go! Check in super easy and check out as well! The tram is in walking distance to quickly get to airport, which was a plus! Location is easy to get around to all touristy places! Easy tram to understand. Thank you for having us , I’d definitely stay again!

We stayed for three nights on a girls' trip to Florence. The room was lovely, and the hosts were very accommodating—when we requested an extra key, they responded promptly. All essentials, including towels, coffee, and fridge, are available in the room.

The walls are thin, but just bring your headphones or earplugs and you should be fine
Really nice hosts who welcomed us. We felt very welcomed and very well taken care of. The place is near the main terminal but still need to take a tram. It’s near the station so it’s quite accessible.

The apartment is in a great location, with walking distance to the center, trams are right outside very convenient. The room is lovely and spotless, quiet at night, which made for a really relaxing stay. Chiara is extremely helpful and super kind! Thank you so much:-)

Great place! Tram station right across the road, less than 10 minutes to city centre. Room and bathroom were really nice. Smart TV in room, mini fridge in room. Lovely hosts. There was a bit of an issue with the shower leaking, but if we run the shower at half pressure then it was fine.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at Florence Boutique! From the moment I arrived, Chiara went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The property itself is beautiful, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location, but what truly made my experience unforgettable was the hospitality. I had a last-minute situation with my son not feeling well, and Chiara was incredibly supportive. She guided me on where to take him and even allowed me to stay longer after checkout to make things easier for 🙏🏻us. Her kindness and willingness to help made all the difference, and I am forever grateful. Beyond the amazing service, the location is super convenient—it’s close to laundry facilities, the metro, the bus, and plenty of great places to eat. Whether you’re exploring Florence or just looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay, this place has everything you need. If you’re looking for a place in Florence that offers not just comfort and beauty but also incredible hosts who genuinely care, Florence Boutique is the place to stay. We had a great stay! The place was clean, had great linen supply, comfy bed and located close to a tram station that goes directly to Firenze Sta Maria Novella Station. Chiara is really nice and accommodating! Their espresso machine actually works plus they provide free pods and they have a microwave and kitchen you can use in the common space. Definitely worth more than what you pay for!

I had a great stay at Florentia Boutique! The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Florence. Room was tiny. Barely room to move! Bathroom was good size. Very clean property and nice smiling welcome.

We did not expect to be in an en-suite room within a larger flat. We could hear all the sounds made by fellow guests. We were sadly kept awake or woken up every night. If you are looking for a place to rest and unwind, this is probably not the right place for you. In addition, the room was much further from the centre than we expected. The only available tram would often be too full, meaning we had to walk the thirty minutes into the centre, which is a pleasant walk but not great if you have any mobility issues. We did it twice with our suitcases due to unavailability of trams.
The rooms were well decorated and staff was very kind and helpful!

The room size was pretty small and it felt cramped for 3 people. Single bed width was not wide enough for a comfortable sleep. Outside noises could be easily heard inside the room.
Location was pretty good, less than 5 mins walk from the tram stop. Room had modern look, and it was neat and clean. Host is friendly, responsive and welcomed us in person. She also gave good recommendations and was always available on WhatsApp to help.

Very clean room, great location only 2 minutes walking to the tram station and 7 min to the city center by tram so convenient , the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming and answered all my messages and gave us al the informations we needed with a smile ?coffee machine was a plus , we liked everything I highly recommend this place

The room was exactly like in the pictures. It was very clean and welcoming. Chiara was super nice and gave us a lot of recommendations. It is very close to the tram station and it is very easy to reach the city center or the train station. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet during night.
