How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The B&B is 15-20 min away from the city center by public transport. The bus station is 3 min walk, and the tram 1 min. It really has all that you need for a lovely stay. The best part of this B&B are the people. Valeria, grazie mille for your help, advices and kind hospitality.

This property was beautiful and the staff were so kind! The staff were very knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations for restaurants and day trips in Florence. Perfect location with easy to transport to city center. We cannot stress the kindness of the staff enough.

I had a wonderful stay at Florence Comfort B&B Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city! One of our favorite places we stayed in Italy. The entire experience was exceptional from the friendly helpful staff to the beautiful room with a super comfy bed, private deck area and fabulous spa style bathroom. Parking on site and the train just steps away so Heart of the city in 10 minutes!

Quaint little property in a nice part of town where we could park the hire car and not worry about on road parking. The rooms were a decent size and it was walkable into the centre of Florence - all in all perfect for what we wanted.

A little more room

The shower pressure & temperature fluctuates wildly when anyone else is using the shower in the property. This was a bit frustrating.
Very clean & comfortable room. Easy to get to the center using the tram. Quiet room and nice to be set a little back from the road behind the gate.

Friendly hosts. They even arranged a dinner at the wonderful hotel on top of Piazza Michelangelo overlooking Florence and provided us with a 10% discount. Couldn’t have asked for a better located BnB for our trip!

It was a double bed. Would have preferred a king or a queen mattress instead of double. Not ideal for couples. White towels are really good, but the colored ones are rough.
Awesome bathroom and hot tub. Excellent location. Good service. Much needed parking space.

The bathroom was a little cool. I would advise paying attention to the smell of the towel.
Very nice and attentive staff. We had a late check-in and they left us all the recommendations for self-check-in. The location was good for us, because we wanted to live a little further from the center, but with parking on the territory. A few minutes from the hotel there was a tram stop, and a bus stop was also nearby. The room was like in the photo, everything corresponded to my expectations, there was heating and air conditioning, also a kettle.

It was fine.
While there was parking, it was also close to public transport, which took us straight into the heart of Florence. The room was clean, and the staff helpful.

The lady was very nice and tried to fill in for the person that was supposed to do it at checked but she spoke no English at all. Being in Florence, we understood and didn't feel entitled but may have missed out on some very important information which may have affected the stay.
