Was fresh, cozy, spacious, kitchen had all that we needed, fridge was working fine like freezing properly. Baths were also fresh and clean , bedroom comfortable , hangers wardrobe for the clothes. Next to the lake shore bank, I loved the location, 5 mins driving or 1 station away from Varenna. 2- 3 mins walking to the Bus station

Very good apartment! We enjoyed our stay in this location, Savina the host was very kind. The location was easy to find. You have to walk around 25mn to be in center Varenna but honestly we did it every morning and evening and it was not a problem as you have a beautiful view of the lake on the road. One thing is missing though it would be nice to have a coffee machine to better start the day.

Beautiful accommodation and Savina was a communicative and kind host. The layout is great and we made good use of the kitchen. The town was a 30 minute walk away up hill and so is the station so perhaps book a taxi in advance if you have lots of luggage.

It can get quite hot in the apartment. There is a fan in the bedroom but during the day is quite warm.

Quite spacious and kitchen has everything you need. Check in and out was very quick and easy. So close to an area to swim in with beautiful views.

Savina was a fantastic host, the accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The location was amazing, close to Varenna, a swimming beach, and hiking. We had a great time!

All was perfect.

Fisherman’s House no 3 was just as expected, the apartment was clean and seemed newly renovated. Great value for money, in fact I believe the host could charge more for the facilities & perhaps offer a small welcome pack of pastries / tea / coffee to start the stay as there is no larger Supermaket close by.

Great location being an easy 15/20 min walk into the town. The place had everything we needed for a short stay. Savina was so helpful and kind to organise transport for us when there was issues with the train line! Highly recommend!!

The house is quite dark inside as it overlooks a road and hillside. Also we hadn’t realised it was a 25 minute walk to Varenna for us which after a days sight seeing was tiring.

It was spacious and comfortable and having access to a little private beach a few steps away was a bonus.

The apartment faced out onto the road and no lake view.

The apartment was per photos and was a nice walk to main centre of Varenna along lake edge. A lovely restaurant just along the road. And also up the hill. Cute private beach. Taxi recommendations were handy to get to train station.

I loved it but would have been great to have a lake view. The mountains on my side were glorious but it was right next to the road. Maybe some softer pillows?

There are no grocery stores in closest area - but this is not the facility's fault. ;) (best option is to take ferry to Menaggio !! There is one store in Varenna (1.9 km) however, we do not recommend it due to very poor supplies.

Beautiful place. Despite the lack of a view of the lake, it fully met our expectations. The apartment is quite large. Clean and quiet, with a charming style. Fully equipped kitchen. A large bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is large. It comfortably accommodates two people. The lack of an air conditioner does not matter, as the proximity of the lake significantly lowers the temperature in the evenings. The building itself is located right next to the lake. A few steps from the house there is a descent to a small pebbly beach with a wonderful log to sit on ^^ (partly under the terraces of the building itself), from which there is a beautiful view. When swimming, be careful with slippery stones :) There is Fiumalette Train Station nearby. You can't hear the trains so don't worry about noise. It takes 20 minutes to walk to nearby Varenna (approximately 1.9 km). The owner was very helpful and communicative. Wonderful woman :) The place fully met our expectations. We highly recommend!!! Thank you!

It was a little further out than I first thought but that was only an issue as we were exhausted from our previous locations we struggled with the walk a little more than we would have if it was our first stop.

It was a great little apartment, everything that you needed right there. Awesome having a kitchen available and a couch to relax on. Everything you want in a place to stay.

Absolutely perfect place to stay! New stylish apartment with wonderful interior, clean, comfortable and modern bathroom, atmospheric kitchen and so on - it is an ideal place. The path to Varenna city centre takes about 15 min by walk along beautiful embankment and botanical garden. The house has his own small hidden beach downstairs from the corner of the building - we were swimming only there because we found it as the most comfy and cozy. Savina, the hostess, was always kind and responsive. I don’t know what to add more - we are just already dreaming about coming back there next time.

Personal preference but the bed was a bit hard for me, but that's the same everywhere as Im spoilt at home.

I stayed here for 3 nights. The room itself is pretty good but it is extremely noisy all day and all night with the cars passing by outside. I think there should have been some reminder in the description. Unfortunately the host seems to think it's normal and justified. She did not seem to be willing to help. I understand there was nothing she could do about it though.

Apparemment #3 is Incredibly noisy as the wall of the house is actually a border of a narrow main road connecting all the towns along the shore. The traffic was slowing down around midnight and restarting around 6am. So we could not sleep properly. The pillows were made of the memory foam and were very uncomfortable , not soft at all. Parking around the house is extremely limited , especially after 6 pm. We were lucky to get the last spot on our first night when we returned after 7pm. So after , for the remaining 3 nights of our stay we tried to return early. It’s a tiny hamlet with only 1 restaurant. We ended up having lunch somewhere else and something to snack in the apartment.

Located about 2 km from the Varenna centre , but it’s a very narrow or none at all walking pass so it’s unsafe to walk along this very busy road. Clean. Good kitchen Good bathroom

This apartment is not in downtown Varenna. It’s a 15 minute walk to the center of Varenna. You need to walk on a busy road with no sidewalks or up in the hills or wait for the train that leaves on the hour that is five minutes to downtown that is right across the street and up a small hill from the apartment. It’s a great value for the area , very comfortable apartment.
