How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The property is situated in a great location very close to the Arena and restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and well appointed. Everything you need for a city break. The owner goes out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Only a stone throw from the old town walls , 5min walk at most to the arena , lovely room and bathroom , quiet on a night . Linda the owner is Very friendly and helpful with lots of information and advice. Would definitely recommend

The room is conveniently located very near the center (Piazza Bra), in a quiet neighborhood. The bed is very comfy, and the water pressure in the shower is excellent.

A unique apartment close to the center of Verona. Linda met us at the apartment and showed us the room and highlighted how things worked. We liked the special care Linda took such as the fresh flowers in the room and letting us park close by. We arrived a few hours early and Linda was flexible in checking us in early, which was appreciated.

Satisfied with everything!
Apartment is absolutely beautiful! Very close to the central square. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Everything is perfect in the apartment! 10+ Hightly recommended!

We did not realise that a hall and a kitchen are shared spaces with other guests.
The apartment is super clean and uniquely styled; I felt that so much effort had been put into making our stay comfortable; you can find anything there, from sleeping masks to hand cream. The host, Linda, is very friendly and welcoming. The location is super.

Every thing is perfect! The apartment is very beautiful, luxurious, and comfortable. The landlord is very kind and gave us a warm welcome with fruits, snacks and drinks. We had a wonderful stay in Verona.

Our host texted us to confirm our arrival time, kindly offered to pick us up at the train station. We arrived to a beautiful well kept room that was within walking distance to all of the sights. We were highly impressed. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. Best goat we have ever encountered. Would very highly recommend staying at FD Luxury Rooms.

The apartment is well kept everything in order and functioning but the style in my opinion is a bit kitch. But of course this is a question of personal taste. Apatr from this kudos 100 percent
All arranged with care and attention to detail. The host really thinks what a client would need or like - from a bottle of Spumante to a selection of coffees and teas, the coffee machine full of water, beauty crams and soaps, and so on . And a very helpful and kind host. Truly remarkable

Linda was amazing! My whole experience at FD Luxury rooms was wonderful. I took the train from Venice and wasn't sure the best way to get to my room from the train station. Linda offered to pick me up and even brought me back to the train station when I left. Such a sweet woman! Also, the room was incredible!! I actually had the whole place to myself because the other 2 rooms were vacant at the time so that was great as well! So cozy, beautifully decorated, location was very convenient and all around highly suggest staying here when visiting Verona!

Hostess Linda was great, gave us many recommendations and offered use of the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the a/c was very effective. The terrace was nice to relax and have a drink.
