Warm welcome by lady in the reception. Breakfast was typicaly italian - sweet. Had also gluten free muffins, sweets... (Very good chees, sausages, olives can buy in close supermarket. The fridge is in the room.) Big terrace. Very nice view for Vulcano, port.

The bathroom layout is annoying and there is practically not a single place to hang your towels or place your toiletry bags. The storage space in the room is rather limited and impractical. During our four night stay the WiFi died for almost a whole day (when it was working, it was pretty fast though).

Well, we absolutely loved the view from the shared terrace, watching the ferries come and go was a joy! And by the way, the harbour noises are not disturbing whatsoever. The breakfast was another highlight! Served in the cafe downstairs, it includes a coffee and croissant of your choice, orange juice (sometimes freshly squeezed) and a delicious granita. The breakfast service is quick and very friendly. The room itself is ok, with efficient air conditioning and good lighting. It is cleaned daily, and very well, too. The towels are changed daily as well. You can hang your laundry on the terrace, using the drying racks and clips provided. The hotel is very high on recycling and takes it seriously, with at least four types of bins in the corridor.

Not much not to dislike except perhaps there was a lot of confusion surrounding breakfast on the first morning. Breakfast is provided by the bar in the hotel. I think perhaps the waitress was just having a bad day. Once it was sorted and at other times she was very pleasant. One other note! Not related to the hotel but do not use Servizio Taxi Mariano. He is a blatant rip off merchant. 😠

Great hotel in a perfect location just a couple of minutes walk from the ferry. And the perfect place to set out and explore this wonderful island from. The hotel check in staff were so helpful and professional. They also ran the ticketing agency as well.

Hotel Faraglione offers simple, clean and recently refurbished rooms.  It has been family owned since the 50’s and there was a genuine islander warmth — the friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome.  The hotel is located next to the ferry which is a perfect location for travellers arriving by foot.  We visited during January and the small tourist-oriented community was quiet except for a few necessity shops, one cafe and the grocery store. We had perfect weather and climbed the island’s namesake volcano to the steaming crater.  Incredible place and nice little community!

The hotel is beautiful, with nice views, and the land has lots of fruit trees and birds. Francesca, the owner, was very kind and helpful. We loved our breakfast of fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee, and pastries.

The location was great, next to the port and a restaurant/bar that is open even in November. The staff was kind, the room large and very correct, and the breakfast, which was at the bar, was great. The location is also convenient for the hike to the crater.

There was no bottled water provided in the refrigerator. When I asked about it, I was told that it was a reasonable hotel. I stayed at 14 inns, but this was the only one that didn't have bottled water. When you finally arrive at your hotel on a hot summer day, it's nice to have cold water in the fridge. I'll be happy if there's water in the fridge next time I go. It would have been nice to have a little more explanation and information about the island.

The hotel where we were greeted by a smiling Mr. Mirella and a kind Mr. Lorenzo is located right in front of the harbor where we can see the ships heading to the Aeolian Islands. It's lively during the day and has a travel atmosphere at night. Although the terrace is shared, it is very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast served at the cafe below is simple but delicious. Currently, you can't go into the mud hot springs, but there were a lot of people there, so I went in. There are hot springs, the ocean, and a rocky mountain that you can climb that resembles a volcano, making it a convenient and fun place rich in nature. There is also a supermarket nearby. Lipari Island seems to be popular, but I love this island! I stayed in 14 places on my first trip to Sicily and Vulcano was really good.

It doesn't get more convenient than this, with the ferry terminal two minutes away, supermarkets and all the restaurants marginally further, and the magnificent view from the shared terrace! We particularly enjoyed watching the big ferries (Siremar) come and go... The room isn't particularly impressive but with very efficient aircon, modern bathroom and reasonable beds it is more than sufficient. The breakfasts in the cafe below are a gift and are served generously, so you can have freshly pressed orange juice, a croissant, a coffee of your choice AND a granita. Absolutely delicious!

Excellent location next to the port. Close to beaches, restourants, and shops. Fantastic view to Vulcano. The room was spacious and clean. The hostess was responsive and helpful.

Absolutely great location (few meters from the port), big terrace with an amazing view to the sea and volcanoes, tasty breakfast in the bar next door, kind and friendly staff. Bike rental few minutes walking from the hotel.
