How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not staying one more night haha Seriously they even offered a bottle of wine The price is probably the only drawback for a small town like Agrigento

Perfect location with superb communication from a cheerful team. Really excellent shower - and I don't just say that as 'space filler' to keep this website happy with the length of my review. Coffee shop 200 yards to the East recommened, ditto restaurant Noccio 200 yards to the West.

Amazing location. Beautiful modern room with great amenities. Quiet but very close to the town centre. The host was very caring and helped make our stay super comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Without a doubt the best part of our stay was Alessia, our hostess. She was friendly and gave us invaluable advice to visit the Valley of the Temples (spoiler: so much better to visit for the sunset!) as well as fabulous places to eat. The room was comfortable with a great shower and a lovely terrace, where we sat to enjoy a glass of wine. You are 5 mins to the Valley of the Temples and can walk to the most delicious pistachio gelato you'll ever have.

Stunning room, cool, refreshing and a great size. Provided a quiet haven during the heat of the day. Huge comfy bed, large bathroom, balcony, cleaned daily. Special touches such as the welcome gifts were much appreciated. Best of all was the lovely Alessia who was BRILLIANT. So helpful and accommodating. Communication was excellent. We used the private garage to park our car and Alessia suggested a three day itinerary for us which was amazing and so unbelievably helpful. So much to see and do in Agrigento. Even managed a beach club day too. Thank you Alessia for your amazing hospitality :)

This is a wonderful small boutique hotel in Agrigento. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The room was comfortable and well-decorated with a nice terrazza to sit out on. Breakfast was the most amazing we've had with a variety of very local specialties, super fresh and flavorful, both sweet and savory. Get the breakfast here, you won't find a better one in town. Also, the owner had thought of so many little things one could need during their stay and included them in the room. Plus we were surprised with gifts such as a small bottle of wine to enjoy and olive oil. Alessia offered many helpful suggestions of things to do, places to go and the timing of activities, restaurants, shops, etc. The location was also good if you have a car, in an area with ample street parking but also not a far walk from the city center.

This was a beautiful and tastefully appointed B&B in a quiet area but only 10-15 minutes leisurely walk into the shopping and restaurant areas of Agrigento. Very comfortable amenities and high end toiletries. Alessia was kind enough to upgrade our room and we found it spacious and had a great night’s sleep. We wish we had stayed for longer!

All was good.
This is a high quality bed and breakfast located in a fine old town house. It’s very well located for exploring the old town on foot. We had a room at the front of the house overlooking the park and there was very little traffic noise. We went out for breakfast to a cafe 5 minutes away. The Valley of the Temples is a 10 minutes drive. We were driving and found the property easily with the help of Waze and paid to use their garage. We received excellent help and care from Alessia, who also communicated very clearly prior to arrival by WhatsApp.

The room was charming, with an adjoining balcony. The bathroom was large and exceptionally clean and modern. Breakfast was superb- the best we had on this trip. Best of all, the hostess- Alexia, is a friendly and helpful person, who gave us many ideas for our time in Agrigento, and was helpful in dealing with our travel plans.
