Staircase in our room from one area to another was very steep

we had a room with balcony over looking the sea and harbour. A short walk to Castle Taranto and surrounds Plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. The breakfast was amazing. The whole area was wide spaces and large walkways along sea front

The twin split room is very small, facing the interior garden. The beds in twin room are quite small. When we arrived we were very dissapointed with the twin rooms and asked for an upgrade to a family suite, but the receprion supervisor tried to sell the family suite with full price. Very unfriendly attitudine, not at all oriented to the customer needs.

It would be worth adjusting the kitchen door so that the waiters don't have to hold it by hand to prevent it from slamming, thank you.

Great hotel with fantastic personnel, even the structure is old. The staff does everything they can to make sure the guests feel comfortable. The breakfast is rich and high quality. Its location is also excellent, right by the sea port and just a few minutes from the Old City. Highly recommended😊

The hotel's location is exceptional, right in the heart of the city, very close to both the old town and the new center. We had a corner room with a spectacular view of the port and the castle. The staff was very friendly and always ready to assist us with any request. The room was very spacious, clean, and offered an amazing view. We used the nearby parking recommended by the hotel. Everything was excellent, and I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit to Taranto

The room floor wasn’t super clean I could see the dust in the angles and the last night the a/c started dropping water for no reason. Also the sink was a little unattached from the wall. But for the rest the room was okay

Big room with great lighting clean bed and towels. Rich breakfast but some of the fresh products were re used the next days so you could tell that they weren’t fresh anymore, and not good to eat. The staff is great, really kind. Don’t take the taxi with the hotel, the guy that they call charge a lot more than normal taxis.

Would have liked linen curtains at the bay windows instead of shutters asi kind of fancied having that wonderful view of the harbour waking up each morning but could not as large windows and a bit exposed if lying or sitting on the bed ...

Everything .the location right at edge of pier with wonderful views from our balcony. Price for 2 nights was very affordable and bonus was we were able to bring our little dog with us . The cost per nite for her was €15 and then a €30 cleaning charge after checking out .. Great value and they made us all feel so welcome over the 2 days including a welcome gift for our dogs. Breakfast included was amazing .everything tasted great and choice of various foods was fantastic. Staff from the moment we arrived to checking out were Brilliant. they even managed to get us free parking outside the hotel .or option of a secure parking with a few of course if needed.. We will definitely be coming back to stay maybe for a longer stay this time . 5 stars to this hotel and it's wonderful staff and views .

There was nothing to talk about that was bad.

Everything was clean and cozy. The personnel was helpful and receptionists were always ready to provide us with crucial and valuable info about our location, trips and tricks. It was perfect.

We would have liked the breakfast to include napkins by default, although they did bring them every time we asked. We would also appreciate an option to heat up specific items, because not everything fits in the toaster, and the salami–cheese pie lost its flavor when it was lukewarm or cold. It would have been better if the room price was about 15 euros lower. We would have liked the possibility to get ice beyond 21:30; since reception is open 24 hours, it would be nice to be able to have drinks or ice at any time during the night. We would also prefer the minibar items to be about 1–1.5 euros cheaper. Likewise, it would be great if the option for a fully closed garage cost about 10 euros less. Finally, we would appreciate having a screen installed on the window, which would also help save energy by reducing the need for air conditioning, and having a floor drain in the bathroom, because water often accumulated on the floor.

The kindness of the staff truly came from the heart. The best full breakfast we have ever had, even compared to hotels with professional chefs. It was the first time we tried sour apple juice and a salami–cheese pie. Within 50 meters on foot, you could find everything you might need, so there was no reason to leave the area for anything. For those who love fishing, there is a wonderful, peaceful spot to enjoy it. The view from the room was incredible—lying down, you felt like the sea was right in front of you. They answered every question promptly via chat. They made us genuinely want to come back in the future for more days.

The position of the hotel couldn’t have been any better. Our room had a double aspect with fantastic views across the sea. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food. The staff were very friendly and polite and very helpful too. Marcello ordered a taxi for us and he confirmed the time of arrival with us. All in all a wonderful stay thank you.

While it's nicely situated it's neither in the Old Town or in the busier shopping area of the new town. Little else to fault it though.

Nice hotel located on a corner adjoining the the Old Town and the "little sea" separated from the Old Town by the artificial canal out to the Mediterranean. Taranto can be breezy and the Hotel has an "air lock" arrangement at the main door to prevent the prevailing wind annoying guests inside. The accommodation is spacious and clean, we have a mezzanine style suite with beds both in the main room and upstairs and a balcony view over the old town and sea. Breakfast is buffet-style both hot and cold with some local dishes. Staff were all very helpful. If you get a chance try the excellent free tour of the nearby Castello operated by the Italian Navy. It's a 20-30 min walk to the main station via the island the Old Town is on.

The shower head , it was very unstable. Would make the bathroom and shower a bit bigger but other than that it was still a comfortable bathroom.

Centrally located, view of the sea, the building outside is beautiful. Inside is just as beautiful and classy. Our room wasn’t very big but still very comfortable. The bathroom was small but still very functional. The one thing I would change would be the shower head, it wasn’t very stable. Bed and pillows very cozy and comfortable. Overall, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Beautiful stylish hotel with gracious, welcoming and attentive staff. Luckily our room 206 was the best room in the hotel,spacious,well appointed 2 bathroomed with views of both seas. Breakfast buffet delicious with a good selection of food . Location perfect with views of the sea and close to the old town within walking distance.Parking available and the bonus was that it is free.
