Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hotel is located right in front of the stream that goes through the middle of the town. My room was on the first floor and the white noise this stream made was soothing. Now if you don't like white noise, you can shut the window. The windows are high grade and soundproof. Room was spotless and everything worked including the A/C. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. They have a secure underground garage if you're looking to bring your motorcycle. They themselves are riders.

Nothing to dislike
Lovely hotel close to restaurants with a nice view overlooking the river. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included delicious pastries, cakes and fresh breads.

This Hotel is a perfect location for visiting Sondrio. The Staff are very helpful and are always there for you. The rooms have been redecorated to a very high standard.

This was a really nice hotel and more luxurious than I was expecting for the price in this area. Everything clean and nice. The employees were helpful and the breakfast was very good, plus I had a wonderful and rather romantic view over the river.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We could park our bikes in the garage and charge them up. The location is just perfect, in the old town, very convenient.

Lovely family-run hotel. Great AC, available round the clock on request, so if you need somewhere cool in summer, this is the place to come. Perfect location, right in the centre, beside Piazza Garibaldi and the beautiful Mallero river. Comfortable. Nice continental breakfast. Delightful staff.

This is a really nice 3 star hotel. The staff were excellent and friendly. The hotel gets great marks for the type of niche it fills. And the room location overlooking the river and hillside was of the beautiful Sondrio setting- I loved opening the windows to let the sound of the river in.

Perfect location - very short walk from the main square with restaurants and bars close by and lovely view over the mountains and the pretty buildings of Sondrio. Would definitely stay here again
