Not clean, ac & phone line wasn’t working in the room - had to complain to get it fixed. It’s meant a 4star hotel but don’t come with that service..

Major upgrades might be beyond the hotel's means but generally it could have been cleaner.

Faded glory is a curious one to review. 4-Stars is flattering but there are elements like the breakfast room (and breakfast) which are memorably good. If you look more closely, in general things are a little shabby with income probably insufficient to meet major upgrade bills but overall the stay was agreeable and probably good value compared to staying in Florence. The station right on the doorstep is a big bonus with frequent trains to the centre of Florence (20-25 minutes by train). One can also use the hotel as a base for visiting Siena by train.

It needs indeed some decoration improvement to bring it back to life but I would say this is not bad overall. What it definitely needs is a fixing of some items that don’t work well, like a leaking toilet that is for sure costly over time.

The staff was very nice, the breakfast was decent, the room was big and the balcony as well. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is great for a budget stay not far from Florence. Parking right in front makes it so easy. Pretty clean as well.

Amazing staff. We got a very big room everything was perfect except pipe noise from other rooms. Hotel is very old. Location is very good. 2 minutes from the train station. Wonderful view during breakfast time.

Bathroom could have some work done. A bit noisy in the night from one of the vents in the hallway and there was a few stains of mold in the celling.

Easy check-in and check-out, people were nice. Bed was good and clean, room was spacious and there was a mini fridge, nice view from the window. Breakfast was nice. Good value for money, compared to the accomodations in Florence. The train station is 2 minutes away with constant trains.

The hotel is old and in some point in the future it will need some repair. We stayed 4 nights, everything was ok until the last night when someome started repairing the bathroom next to our room. It was 1 to 2 a.m and we woke up scared with such huge noises of someome banging the wall, and there was someome constantly entering and leaving the room, banging the door with no care ..just ruined our last night of sleep, as it lasted at least one hour.

The staff was very friendly and always ready to help! We arrived a bit early but they gave us our room before the check in hour! The location is great, in front of train station! It was Impossible to book a Room in Florence that we could afford, so I think that for the value the hotel was really nice. The breakfast was ok, I would love to have some more fruit apart from apples.

I booked the hotel for one night. However, I didn't notice that the date was changed at the time of the confirmation of booking. After the date was passed I realised that I had the booking for the wrong date. I requested them, and they accommodated my request.

Could do with more plug socket options but it really wasn’t a big deal.

Great hotel, 20 minutes from central Florence, staff were lovely & my room was cleaned everyday. The value for money is fantastic & breakfast was delicious.
