How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Rooms need renovation. Avoid in 2025 till July - local square renovation is going right below the hotel.
Attentive staff. Convenient parking. Central location. Clean. Don't miss garage - it is underground, exit roundabout just before (some 20m) the hotel towards a tiny old church, look left for the down ramp going towords the hotel building, ring the bell. Book parking in advance, it's almost impossible to find other parking in Rapallo except maybe in winter.

For a wellness spa hotel, there spa hours are within a short window. I was hoping to utilize the facilities and amenities offered, however, they were only open for 3 hours in the day which for a one night stay didn’t work with our schedule.
The property was well dated and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included and the dining area was well maintained.

Would have been great to be able to book the secure parking in advance. Breakfast is very good but order coffee from the bar to get a good one. Lifts feel very old.

The spa was quite tiny and I found the fee of it a bit high compared to what it is offering
Very good location, the staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was tasty (not so many options but quality food).

We stayed in room 415, and though there was good internet signal in all the hotel places we did not have any in the room. They promised to look into the matter and try to fix it.
The room was very spacious and the personel was very friendly and tried to comply with every demand we made. Especialy Michele in Plinio Riviera restaurant. He made our stay great with his friendliness and attention.

A bit noisy. Next to train line , and unfortunately some road works in front of property.
Good location, walk to station and ferry terminal and town. Nice restaurant, good staff. Very pleasant to sit outside in terrace garden to enjoy drinks and meals.

There is a big construction side direct in front of the hotel. The climate inside the room is Not working so we had to sleep with Open Windows. They were working on the construction side through the whole night. It was Not possible to sleep. The breakfast was like in a 2 Star Hotel. Personal was Not very friendly.
Hotel is nice and Looks Beautiful. Room is comfortable and clean.

it's not necessarily related to the hotel, it was a bit noisy, there was a construction site in front of the hotel.

Good price for one night. Bathrooms are very small, smelled like paint, we had to air out the smell. Parking available on site.

I have no complaints
The room was excellent; breakfast was superb and above all the location was fantastic meaning we could walk from here to many places and the boat to Portofino was five minutes away. This hotel really stands out in Rapallo and we were delighted with out choice.

Can‘t say anything bad
Very central location, friendly staff, clean and edinately high standard compare to other hotels in italy! Usually hotels are not that well maintained and staff is not so friendly! I can recommend this hotel to anyone.

The view from my room was of a building site which we would have like to have been informed even though it’s not part of the hotel we were staying for 6 nights not 1 night Parking fee 19 euro and no kettle in room
Very close to the centre, room very clean, staff friendly and approachable, breakfast was ok lovely outside terrace. Free bottles of water ever day fresh towels
