Lovely Stay – Warm Host, Cozy Room, Excellent Service (but note the small bed) We had a really lovely stay here! The host was absolutely wonderful — kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. Her warmth and attention made a big difference. The room was adorable and charming, very clean and thoughtfully arranged. The air conditioning was fantastic — quiet, strong, and kept the temperature just right. The in-room coffee machine was a really nice bonus and added a lot to our comfort. The bathroom and toilet were new but quite small, so they might not be ideal for larger guests. The location is very quiet and safe, which we appreciated, though it’s a bit far from the city center. Important note: The bed was only 140 cm wide, which made it very difficult for two adults around 1.80m tall to sleep comfortably. This is something to seriously consider if you’re a taller or bigger person — it might not be suitable. Overall, the hospitality, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere made it a lovely experience, despite the small bed. We'd recommend it with that one important caveat in mind.

The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet area. The room is well renovated and equipped with everything you need, such as a kettle and coffee machine. And very, very good internet. The hotel is also close to a bus stop, metro station and a 15-minute walk from the Vatican. There are many different restaurants and shops nearby to suit all tastes. Special thanks to the host, Marianna, who was very kind and helpful and gave us lots of advice on what to see and do.

Everything. The location was safe with a military convoy just outside the door infront of the building and we felt safe walking during the night. It's a walking distance from the Vatican but also from the main attractions in the center of the city if you feel like walking (30-45) mins. The room and the bathroom were really clean and were cleaned daily. The room and the bathroom have all the amenities that you would need. Toilettries are included in the bathroom. On top of it all, the host Marianna was great. She stayed a bit late to welcome us since we were late from our assigned check in and explained everything greatly. She also included a welcome kit (croissants, bottles of water) in the room when we checked in which was highly appreciated. She also helped us book a taxi to the airport when we checked out. Overall, great hostess and a great stay.

I was expecting breakfast every morning but received a welcome tray of goodies when we arrived. It advertises as a bed and breakfast. It was not a big deal as we enjoyed finding cafes to enjoy our morning coffee.

It was in a nice neighborhood. It felt safe and walkable to all the places we were interested in seeing. Good restaurants close by as well. Our host was very responsive to our questions.

This is the 2nd time we are staying at Marianna’s. Everything is beyond perfect. It’s one of the few places that provides toiletries such as shampoo etc. Coffee and pastries are an added bonus. Perfect location with security in front of the building. Easy access to Vatican City and other parts of Rome. The room had everything you needed. Most importantly, the internet was very fast as promised in the ad.

A romantic atmosphere in the room, beautifully decorated. I particularly liked the colors. Excellent location 15 minutes from the Vatican City. Very quiet rooms with everything you need. Very responsive host, everything is sorted out in a few hours.

Supersmall bath Had to wait for the key When was leaving thought that check out time is 12 as always. But at 11 received message that I forgot some goods. Of course I forget! I didn't take anything! When come back from breakfast, room was open. It was very uncomfortable. Dislocated good. May be 7 of 10
