The property is stunning. It feels like you’ve stepped into a little magical place from a different time. The secret garden was beautiful, and the details with the elephants throughout the hotel was really fun. The staff were also so very nice to my dog.

Friendly and helpful staff who provided local knowledge and advice for transport and day activities. The hotel is incredibly clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Good location and a wonderful garden across the road to wander and relax by the outdoor pool. There is a wide range of sweet and savoury options for breakfast. The breakfast room is bright with amazing formal crockery and cutlery. Service was outstanding and the best coffee I had in Italy! Loved the room full of photos and the history of the hotel and family. There is an indoor pool, sauna and steam room available in the late afternoon. It was wonderful to come back to the hotel and relax. The restaurant menu is great with a good selection of affordable entrees, main meals and desserts. I recommend this hotel to all and look forward to staying again.

The room was a bit warm at night, though this didn’t affect my sleep.

Well located close to the centre of Bressanone/Brixen, really attractive, grand historical building and lovely gardens. Great buffet breakfast. Very friendly, helpful team.

All beyond criticism.

Superb hotel... well trained team, delicious food from a kitchen that can actually really cook, beautiful gardens and nice outdoor pool. It has an interesting history and great ambience. If I needed to escape somewhere for the sake of my mental health, I would come here.The town is rather good as well.

Spa closes very early (8pm) - no possibility to relax there in the evening. Complimentary fruit (apples) was rotten and gave me stomach upset.

This was my fourth stay - I love this beautiful, classic hotel in the cute Alpine town of Brixen.

There could be a desk to work/study in the room or somewhere in the hotel, bearing in mind that not everyone will visit Brixen for vacations.

The hotel interior was picturesque and authentic. The breakfast was great, and the quality of the products was excellent. The room was spacious and very clean.

We liked everything. The only thing to bear in mind is that if you have a room in the dependance, as we did, it was really nice but the only downside was that to access the pool we had to go outside and cross the road (unlike people in the main hotel who could go directly from their room by using the lift). But this was just a very minor thing and did not spoil our stay, which was super!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Elephant. The building of the hotel is very beautiful and full of history. The staff, especially the staff at breakfast and the lady cleaning our room, were very nice and friendly. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. When we arrived, the staff of the hotel left us some biscuits and fruits in our room as a welcome. One of the best things was the breakfast which was excellent, with plenty of options, including fresh and dried fruits, yogurt, speck and a large variety of cakes and teas.

You must be a fool if you find anything wrong

Very warm welcome after travelling from Australia. I arrived at 10:30pm due to train issues, a little hungry and partly frozen and of course kitchen was closed but the lovely lady on reception offer to get something organised for me. They have the best wines, a stylish hotel that has the old world charm I thank you all

The hotel's atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The breakfast and the restaurant are delicious. Also, the location is great, everything is within walking distance.

They did not provide an in-room ironing board or iron. When traveling with Kids, one expects to have all these as part of the amenities. We were not going to get my 8 year olds clothe ironed by the hotel.
