Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The air conditioning isnt working good enough It is not cooling well.
A very clean and comfortable apartment, the owner was very helpful It is near the airport but there is some walk until the house.

The distance from the airport was not what the Booking.com posted, 2.4 miles. It was actually around 6.5 miles, so instead 30 euro as the host's info, the taxi driver charged 65 euro, and another taxi drive from Roma Termini couldn't even find the apartment on his GPS and also charged 65 euro. That was the disappointment to us as add them together to 130 euro, we could stay in an airport hotel and then took the hotel shuttle to the terminal. However, this is not the host's fault as we like her very much for her kindness and helpfulness.
The host was very good to meet us at the property in a super hot day. The apartment had everything we needed. It was closer to a shopping mall, so it was very convenient to do the last minute shopping before leaving Italy.

Close to airport (5 minutes away) & close to train station to get to airport. Also, walking distance from a mall with shops, restaurants & grocery store. Apartment was very clean & spacious. It had a nice deck to sit on. Area was safe.

The property was great but some of the surrounding buildings nearby were abandoned and unkempt. Lots of pigeons and pigeon poo. Body corporate needs to step up as I it’s a health hazard to residents that live there.

It’s in a commercial area, which is perfect for convenience with airport, but it’s not a beautiful place to walk around. However it’s a short Uber drive or train ride away from nicer areas.
Walking distance from train station which made for easy transport to airport early the next morning. Across the street from a shopping center, super convenient for last minute gifts and grocery.

Location is a little strange but perfect for a stay before flying out and still felt safe. It was difficult to get Uber/taxi to airport but we got one eventually and luckily we left early, we did miss the train and they weren’t running as frequently on a Sunday.
Apartment was perfect and host was very helpful!

At this level it is not exactly right not to have general facility cleaning at all.... maybe every three days could be more appropriate.
Good location...not exactly very good for my target, Fiera di Roma.

It's not the most scenic spot if you're visiting Rome or Fiumicino for sightseeing.
Great communication with host. Fast and reliable wifi (important for my business meeting). Clean apartment with great amenities and very easy to get to/from the airport.

Good location for arriving by train, having a relaxing day, and getting an early morning taxi to the airport the next day. Nice balcony. We had lunch at a good restaurant near the mall and visited a lesser-known but interesting nearby archeological site at Oasi di Portus.

Located close to the railway station, one stop from the airport, from which we were travelling the next day. Also located next to a shopping mall, which had a wide choice of restaurants. The fact that Massimiliano waited for us in the parking lot and was so nice and gracious made us feel welcomed. The apartment was clean and comfortable with water, coffee, tea, and snacks. Our stay was not prearranged but rather a necessity due to a change in our flight from Naples to Rome, needing to find a llace for the night near the airport. But the warm welcome and the lovely flat were a huge plus.

The location is rather difficult to find but the host was trying her best to meet and direct me to the apartment.
Clean and nicely decorated. The jacuzzi bathtub is a great addition to the relaxing feel of the apartment

the parking lot is a bit far to the apartment. If you have luggages, this could be a problem.

The location on the map is perfect, but Leonardo park is not a nice neighbourhood. There are no nice, authentic restaurants, only the restaurants in the shopping mall. It was a bit dodgy walking from the apartment to the train station at night.
Alessia is a lovely host. She was friendly and helpful. The apartment is spacious, clean, very well equipped. It was very quiet.

The landlord lady, Alessia, is the most kind and generously accepted my requests. It was nice that my stay in Italy for three months finished at this property. I can definitely recommend this apartment for those who depart from Fiumicino airport shortly. Alessia, Grazie!

It is far from the city center and the train is scheduled at 30 minutes intervals. It will take about 1 hr to reach the city where majority of attractions are located.
Well equipped kitchen, modern and beautiful rooms. The hosts are very responsive. They even pick us up at the train station. The apartment is a few minutes walk from a large shopping mall, which is crossing street from the train station.
