The only drawback was pedestrian access to the main street at night. There was no dedicated gate for those walking in.

The property was very well located, and the room was spacious and clean. I especially appreciated the bar across the street, which served excellent coffee and grappa.

Pool closed at 7pm, which we had no issues with, but you weren't allowed to remain at the loungers. It's no big issue, but it would have been nice to enjoy the evening sun a bit longer.

I expected the pool, but it was not open. When in chill timing, I would recommend a gazebo to replace the pool.

If was perfect . I was on a motorcycle and got fought in a storm 60 kms out . The heating was on in my room so all my stuff dried out for the next day . Water was hot in the shower . All in all just what I needed

The restaurant was good quality and had a different set menu everyday but I think the food was slightly overpriced, especially the set menu, but as the room was very reasonably priced it wasn’t really an issue for me as a solo traveller, more an observation. The hotel obviously caters for large groups and business travellers and they may have different pricing arrangements but private travellers especially with family might find it a little expensive. There was enough variety across the a la carte menu for four or five days of dining but that’s probably sufficient as I doubt that many guests stay longer than three or four days. These are just observations and not criticisms as I was completely satisfied with my stay.

Good location just off the motorway but quiet. Large room, firm but comfortable bed. Clean. Good breakfast. Excellent staff especially the waiting staff. I stayed for four nights and used it as a base to see the monastery and war cemeteries and Caserta and Herculaneum and it was ideally situated for that purpose.

There was nothing I did not like about the property, I will definitely stay there again when next visiting Cassino and would certainly recommend it to other travellers.

Previously stayed at this hotel when visiting Cassino and the Abbey so returned as familiar with location and accommodation. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Due to a mix up on my part we arrived a day early however this did not cause an issue and in addition we were also upgraded to a junior suite at no extra cost which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious, extremely clean and very comfortable as was the bed. We dined in the hotel, again staff were very helpful and also very patient whilst I was using my phone to translate the menu into English. There was a large selection of dishes available, my meals were delicious, well seasoned and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also very good. Free on site parking is also a bonus with plenty of available spaces.

We walked in and I smiled at a man at the front desk. He ignored me, stood up, went to the end of the front desk and did something on his phone. I waited several minutes for his colleague, a woman, to finish her phone call with a client. She was helpful. I asked if they had a map to the Abbey and they did not. It would be helpful if they could provide street maps of the area. Not a great first impression but fortunately the experience improved greatly from there.

The grounds and facility are beautiful and really well maintained. Views of the mountains are spectacular. The room, bed and pillows were comfortable. They let us check in an hour and a half early, which we really appreciated. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were delicious. The wait staff were superb -- friendly and attentive. We went to Cassino specifically to see the Abbey, which was about a 20-minute drive from the hotel because the road to the Abbey is really curvy. The hotel is on the outskirts of town, which is good because Cassino Centro was crazy crowded and driving/parking was not fun. We were happy to park in a spacious, free lot at the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely clean hotel with nice sized rooms and a very comfortable bed. Great outdoor space that is well kept. Fabulous breakfast and friendly staff. Good location for Cassino. We were a large family group ages from 9 months to 85 years, but everyone was catered for and really happy with this choice.
