How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The security was not enough, the door of the room was able to open almost without anything. The atmosphere of the location was a little strange and gave a feeling of insecurity
Everything so nice and confortable. The room was perfectly clean and the views were so nice.

Sometimes the elevator is not working, outside is quite crowded (so if you are easily distract by noise is not good), but it is good area to meet up and drink.
Location, access, easy to do the check in, the interior design, in the center of drinking places and good restaurants

The check out time is 10am which is quite early, it’s like a puzzle maze to find our room.

The room was cold. Stayed there in February and there was no heating. The air conditioner didn’t heat the room well. There were also interruptions in hot water in the shower.
Good location in the city center.

It may be a bit noisy in the night due to the people in the square downstairs
Best position probably in Milan for visiting the city center, close to many attraction and to nice areas. Lovely balcony. Very clean.

Late and some times no respond at all .. no recrption
Perfect location clean . Only one key and no reception incase you lose the key you will end up in the street .. the staff not always answer your sms .. communication is not easy .. for some times no respond . Fridge is tiny .. I would book there again if they provide an extra key which were supposed to be in the bath room which facing my room ,, so when I booked the room the wash room is not inside the room and I knew that but private bathroom ..

The shower was pretty bad, no water pressure at all and the water was cold.

It was very cold upon arrival and it took around 30min for the heating to start + the bathroom needs some love and better cleaning

Asked for more toilet paper but unfortunately none delivered despite promised. Quite thin walls.
No breakfast option but plenty of places nearby. Location was fantastic - right in the centre, walkable to everywhere and close to transport options. Beautiful outlook over the square and church.

The hot water tended to run out. As Californians, we are mindful of water, yet the water didn’t last long. Perhaps a bigger tank or on demand system with timer would solve it.
Location was excellent for easy access to great restaurants.The host provided excellent checking in instructions. The property was easy to locate with the San Lorenzo landmark.The elevator for 3 floors was a bonus.

Tram noise: A tram passes right in front of the unit. It’s fast, so the noise lasts about 30 seconds. Cathedral bells: The bells ring a few times daily, but the noise isn’t too bad. Bar noise: The bar next door can get noisy on weekends. If you go to bed early, you’ll probably sleep through it. with all that in mind, I will still be considering this room as an option in the future
View: Our room (401) had a balcony with an amazing view of the Cathedral Museum. It was especially beautiful at sunrise and perfect for photos. Location: It’s a 10-minute walk from the Duomo, close to bus stops, a street full of thrift stores, and lots of great restaurants. AC: Coming from Saudi Arabia, I was worried about the summer heat, but the room had a great AC unit that kept it cool and comfortable. Sustainability: They use eco-friendly products like shampoos and soaps, which was a nice touch.

the price is too high. the toilet is outside the room for 403 and this was not comfy as there are another people staying with you in the same place.
very good location, 10 minutes to reach Duomo. clean room and comfy bed. very small fridge. on my opinion, it's a good choice for 1-2 days in Milano for a solo traveler

I did have a few knocks on my door throughout the two nights and felt like the door was not secure enough at times which isn’t very comfortable a female solo traveller.
The property was very easy to locate with clear instructions to enter the building and room. Was very clean, bed was comfortable, with a large bathroom. The balcony was a lovely extra addition to the room.

Needs kettle for tea/coffee making. There was a shared coffee pod machine in lobby but no facilities if you don’t drink coffee.
