1. It would be helpful to have at least a microwave available in the common (reception) area. This is something the owner could easily provide. 2. The water taps are quite risky and need to be opened very carefully, as they tend to spray water onto the floor. Even with caution, it was difficult to control the water flow, which often led to water spreading across the floor and created inconvenience (eg use towels to dry floor!!). This issue can be especially problematic for families with children. Installing a more controlled mechanism would be a sensible improvement. 3. It would also be beneficial to install a hand shower in the bathroom for added convenience. ly overhead shower is not convenient)- this is easy for the owner install/fix.

Excellent location and communication with the owner (Valentina) went extensively well as she was very prompt in responding. As a B & B, I would rate a score of 9.5.

The walls do not isolate sound that well, guests who wake up early or come home late can easily wake you up. I usually sleep like a rock and things like these do not bother me but here I could not sleep that well. The bed was too soft for me, my girlfriend loved it, so it is up to preference I guess. We could not tell if ac was on the first night we were here but otherwise worked well.

The best thing about this place is the location. It is in the heart of Catania and being anywhere in the old town and center means you're pretty much at home already. The rooms are spacious, clean, the staff is nice and helpful. You also get complementary breakfast at a nice place nearby.

Nothing to complain about.

You can't beat the location of this property, just inside the Piazza and next to the cathedral, but still quiet. Our room was Bellini, had a view out on to the street on the otherside of the square. Bed was comfortable pillows ok plenty of space and fridge was a bonus. Bathroom had plenty of space. All in all our 2nights where very comfortable. Recommend to anyone.

The Etna bathroom needs an upgrade. New toilet seat would help.Also the smell of drain wasn't good. We had stayed in the larger room the night prior to this one, so was a little disappointed with the 2nd room although was less € than night before. I guess you get what you pay for!!

Power failed when we tried to use washing machine - told later it wasn’t working. TV useless - 1 local channel only. Reverse cycle aircon didn’t heat. Poor kitchen facilities - eg no cups/ mugs, no frying pan, no tea towel minimal utensils. Not fitted out as a bnb. Foir required to be licked with key which is ok, but also there was no exit without key which is possibly illegal - or should be. (If one member goes out taking keys to get back in, other member is locked in apartment!!) 2.5 flights of stairs to lug luggage. Right beside railway line. Lots of noise early morning and late night.

The fridge wouldn't fit an olive. Funniest thing I have ever seen! I like a better equipped kitchen.

I liked the little place. Loved the painting on the wall. Loved the windows... The host was very nice our accommodating for our situation with luggage: we only stayed one night out.

The security system for opening the front door was a bit dodgy, but after calling the host assistance was ready at hand.

One of the most central locations possible in the historical centre of Catania. In the immediate vicinity of some of the city's most important monuments and places to visit. Also close to the P.zza Borselino square where several bus services are available, including the ALIBUS from and to the airport. The rooms are on the first floor, so it's not too much of a hassle to carry one's luggage upstairs.

Unfortunately someone stole my suitcase from the hire car. There is NOTfree parking and you have to park in the street or a car park that is swarming with drop outs.

There was no parking at the property and we had to drive about 20min to find parking. I wouldn't call it a B&B as breakfast isn't available at the location (which is ok as there are a lot of great cafes around to get breakfast).

We didn’t mind that the only refrigerator was a shared one for all of the rooms - but we were very disappointed to find that the kitchenette/stove did not work at all. Like ourselves, I am sure that many people book these rooms because of the kitchen. This was a huge let-down because they seemed to have already known it wasn’t working, but neglected to mention it during any part of the booking process.

The location of the property itself is right in the heart of the city. Access to the property was also very simple and convenient overall.
