The property was amazing, Beautiful and Spotless, Wonderful Selection of Breakfast items and Snacks, and you could not ask for a better location, the hosts Simona and Andrea exceptional, Andrea went through in great detail the fantastic places to visit in Lecce and the surrounds and Simona even dropped us at the bus station on our departure

Wanted to stay for longer!!

Perfect quirky, spacious property in the most perfect location. Alessandro was also the perfect host meeting us at a time to suit us for check in and giving us useful information and organising a taxi.

Everything was great with this accommodation. Highly recommend. Would stay again. Excellent location and facilities. Host made good contact and very informative. Restaurant next door was great too. We eat there both nights. Fried Spaghetti was delicious.

A/C was quite loud but didn't impact our stay enormously, better to have a/c than not.

Property was in an excellent location with beautiful views of the duomo. Couldn't be more central, in the heart of the Sassi. Lovely little terrace to sit out in and enjoy the views. Large room, that was very clean. Host was excellent with communication. Felt very traditional with lovely high domes ceilings. Very comfortable bed and good amenities in the bathroom. Coffee machine good for a morning espresso.

The apartment is well located within the Sassi area. It's absolutely beautiful with a large open plan seating area and bedroom. The bathroom is also large with a good walk in shower. There's a small outdoor terrace at the rear, however, we sat in the yard at the front as it's a lot brighter. With the walls off the building being so thick it's also very quiet and cool. There's air con but we never had to use it.

If you hadnt been fit you would have struggled with the stairs, of which there are many around the town.

The owner/agent was very communicative and answered all our questions and queries quickly and thoroughly. The room size was large and airy with high ceilings and a small terrace to sit on. Very close to all sites.

Would have liked a kettle, the coffee machine is a great idea but we like tea and decaf so a kettle offers more flexibility.

Great location in the heart of the Sassi. Beautifully/sensitively renovated with some great features. Loved the bathroom, high ceilings etc Courtyard was nice. Liked the fact it had the locked gates making it feel really safe. Owner kept in touch and was really helpful. Would recommend.

There is some road noise even though Matera excludes most traffic. We would have liked a second suitcase stand.

This is a bedroom with ensuite shower room, on the first floor of an old stone building close to the centre of Matera. It is in the area of Stassi though it is not a cave dwelling itself. The building has been well renovated. The decoration is quite minimalist, allowing the stone walls and the stone vault of the roof to speak for themselves. The bed was comfortable but we would have welcomed a bit more furniture, for example full size bedside tables and bedside lights.

Wonderful location in the Sassi with a large room, comfortable bed, and small deck to take in the views. Easy walk around the city. Parking at a lot a short distance from room. Host was kind and helpful.
