The room was very good, well set out, roomy

Decor was dated. Shower needed updated. When you turn the shower on, you can't get in without the water going over your head, so if you're hoping to keep your hair dry, there is no chance. The bathroom has nowhere to hang your clothes or store your stuff. We could hear when rooms around us flushed the toilet. The "pool" area was not as advertised. One dip pool, the pool was maybe 5 feet wide. 2 sunbeds. 4 people could comfortably be up here . Sun faces the loungers all day, no shade and the beds get too hot to touch. There's no way to get away from the glare of the sun. No lounge area in the hotel to relax. Hotel staff were mostly ok, not too friendly, but not rude either.

Location is perfect. Right on a busy piazza with cafes and restaurants around it. Good view of the lake. The bed was very comfy and big. The room was a good size. Cleaning staff were really friendly and nice.

As our room on the first floor was overlooking the square the bar seemed to be active until 2.30 / 3.00am, so couldn’t sleep with the doors open (which we prefer) However with the doors closed and the aircon it certainly blocked out any noise .

It was in the centre of town, close to the ferry and charming. The rooms were comfortable , the food was good , but for us not included. The infinitely pool and sauna fun and we had a sweet balcony . The town was bustling but not as busy as the other towns . It was very pretty and the quaint .

Very few amenities, such as restaurant, but cafe downstairs did in a pinch. Hotel shared a Piazza with so many shops, that it was not much of a problem to get what we needed elsewhere!

The mattress could definitely do with an upgrade.

We only got to stay here for 1 night, but it was a lovely stay. We had a balcony which overlooked the lake, stunning. The rooftop pool also has a gorgeous view, but it is abit small and closes at 6:30pm. Great location and right near the bus stop which takes you directly to the start of the Greenway walk and Como.

Limited hours for reception.

Breakfast was limited but adequate. I liked the fact that it was a la carte. All staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and everywhere was very clean.

Being on the 1st floor above the restaurant is not advised. The smell of pizza at each meal in the room is not appreciated and stays on clothing. Also, loud music during the morning is not relaxing at all. A lot of noise ! 1st floor above the restaurant is not recommended !

The room fittings and bathroom were a bit dated, but comfortable nevertheless.

The location is great, in the heart of Menaggio and right on the water with great views. We loved the rooftop pool, looking out over the lake whilst taking a refreshing dip was the perfect thing to do after a day of sight seeing in the heat of summer. Our room was a really good size and comfortable. We would stay there again.

I could have done with different pillows - but that’s largely my issue (I always take my own when not flying!) and I didn’t ask for different ones. Other than that - it’s a lovely, friendly hotel.

Perfect location and the small pool on the top floor was an added bonus. The rooms are large, it’s easy to get to the hotel from the ferry - no serious uphill struggle with a suitcase - and it’s a lovely friendly location.

Door to the bathroom sqeaked.(just needs oil) Limited food menu . Limited control of air conditioning I.e no matter the setting the room would be freezing around 2 - 4 am and the only solution was to turn it off then restart it at 8 am. These are minor things. We loved our stay.

Great location and rustic charm of the place. Room was kept clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Close to ferry wharf and central base to visit places on Lake Como. The lift was handy with our room being on the 3rd floor (some older hotels only have stairs)

Amazing staff - very helpful in recommending authentic restaurants and local activities. Complementary breakfast was wonderful. They had lots of choices and their coffee was just perfect.

The pool wasn’t as big as we thought and the ‘hot tub’ that was claimed was just a small bubble feature of the pool and wasn’t hot. Sauna was broken as well.

Location was very good in the middle of everything. Bed was very big and comfy. Pool on the roof was a very cool feature.

The room was a good size and clean however there was a bit of a smell and the bathroom was quite basic based on the cost of the hotel too. Parking was also an extra cost which was a shame based on the cost of the hotel. I do understand that location and space is a premium in general but advertised as having parking and then charging.

Location was amazing, right by the lake and on the front. Our room had a terrace overlooking the main square in Menaggio and the lake which was amazing. The rooftop pool was amazing and the aperol is great!

For the price they charge (210 EUR a night) is too expensive what they offer. No wifi, no toiletries, hair dryer barely works, pillows very stiff, the pool is also pretty small and only 2 sunbeds.

The location is great, right on the town square of Menaggio. Beautiful view over Lake Como and Menaggio. The bus stop and ferry terminal are within walking distance.

In the morning you can hear noises and smells coming from the restaurant below the room.

The room was large, with a very large comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were clean. Additional facilities included a kettle, refrigerator and wine glasses. Excellent location. A pleasant place with a pool on the roof of the hotel.
