Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Then check-in staff was phenomenal. She immediately heard us rolling our luggage and popped outside to lend us a hand, knowing exactly who we were. What a wonderful greeting! That evening we ate in the restaurant and were very impressed with the every dish served to us, but more importantly the friendly wait staff who helped us choose just the right wine!

The shower leaked quite a lot into the bathroom, but nothing a few towels can’t fix.

The rooms are modern, comfortable and have a stunning view of the mountains and courtyard below. The rooftop was a lovely way to see the town quietly. The breakfast was amazing. Great variety of delicious yoghurts, toppings, fruit, cakes, pistachio crossaints and the like. The check in was easy, and we were thankful for the lift for our luggage. Highly recommend this hotel. Only a short >10 minute walk from the station.

Beautifully modern hotel in Tirano only a short walk from the train station. Delicious breakfast. Online check-in was speedy and arrival was quick and easy. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in the area.

Something was missing and I think it was the lack of a personal touch with the self service check in. The deluxe double room could not be faulted in terms of facilities, comfort and cleanliness. It just lacked personality and warmth. Breakfast would probably have been excellent. It’s served downstairs with a different management. Was meant to be open from 7am but there was no sign of life at 8am. I called the hotel number (no one on reception as already advised) and some people did arrive at around 8.30. I’m assuming someone had been off or experienced another problem. Communication is key in everything. In the end, we had to rush breakfast in 15 minutes but it did look delicious and the service was good. It’s hard to fault the Domus Cavour but I don’t think I’d stay again. Had a kettle in the room with tea and coffee but with paper cups rather than crockery. Just not my vibe, sorry.

The good bits; modern, clean, spacious, lots of hot water, a very comfortable bed with effective air conditioning.

The hotel was a wonderful surprise. It was even better than the photos. Very modern and updated. Simple self check-in process made it so simple after a long day of travel. The room was lovely. Spacious and bright and SUPER clean. All the conveniences. Bed was very comfortable. Nice lounge on the 1st floor with a vending area, coffee machine, sitting area etc. We loved that the hotel also provided complimentary bottle to fill your water. Beautiful rooftop terrace for relaxing with a nice view. This hotel was a wonderful surprise. We only stayed one night but could have stayed more! Staff was helpful at checkout. Quick and simple. A great stop after the Bernina Express. It was about a 7 minute walk from the train station.

Location, facilities, clean & comfortable

Great location, comfortable room & bed. Nice touch with a guest terrace/ lounge with cold & sparkling water on tap & metal water bottles to use & keep as a gift. Very good grain shower. The only thing they could improve on would be to have facial tissues in the room. Also, good TV with Netflix & Prime so you can due your own.

It was a little noisy when the other guests left for an early train in the morning.

The building was absolutely gorgeous, a modern renovation with glass floors in the lobby and stair areas, beautifully finished and very striking decor. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean, light and bright. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and free overnight in the piazza opposite. The hotel is in a very central location. Breakfast was more than sufficient and the complimentary reusable water bottles a nice touch. We would stay here again.

The glass floor in the stairwell is not for faint hearted but definitely looks cool. Parking is a bit tricky.

Great central location, modern clean room, delicious buffet breakfast, helpful friendly staff. Paola checked us in and she was amazing. The rooftop views are a bonus.

We loved everything about this place

Very clean and modern, lovely breakfast with a good selection of food. Good communication re self service check in. Free water bottle which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
