We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe so called hotel room was a room in an apartment situated in a residential apartment block. Firstly there was the nightmare of checking in. We arrived at the "hotel" only to find that there was no way to enter the building. When I telephoned the hotel office I was told that I had no choice but to travel to their reception office at Reception Office at Piazzale della Stazione del Lido 22 (Central Station ) This took ages and the area outside the station felt very unsafe. When we got back to our room we noticed the toilet flush button in the wall was missing and there was a hole in the wall where it should have been. I telephoned the reception and told them that we had been given a room without a toilet flush and I was told that there were no other rooms available. I told them that it was unacceptable that we should be asked to stay in a room without a functioning toilet and that the hotel should book us into other accomodation. I was told that this was not possible and when I asked if we were expected to stay in a room with piles of sh*t filling the toilet and no way flushing it, I was told that someone would come the next day. Eventually I found that if I put my hand right into the hole (unhygenically scraping my hand against the inner parts of the wall each time) and press parts of the works of the flush that the missing button should be attached to then I could flush the toilet. The room should not have been rented in this condition. In addition the TV did not work, one of the bedside power sockets did not work and the duvet had no cover on it which is quite unhygienic. The next evening when we returned we could not get into the apartment as the key did not work. It went round but did not open the door. There was no one in the apartment this time to open it for us. I telephoned the reception centre and they told me that they were aware of “issues” with the lock.

ColombiaWe made a reservation for accommodations and received confirmation that it was all set. However, upon arrival (which was a residential building), no one was there to assist us. We then spoke with a very rude person who claimed to be an assistant but refused to help us. As a result, we ended up paying for the accommodation, but were unable to use it. It was a poor experience dealing with these individuals, as they essentially took our money without providing the promised service.

PolandThe location of the apartment is different than on the map. The map shows the location of a reception. However the apartments are about 15 minutes walk from the reception. Cleaning service failed to come after sever request and came only after several days and messages.
