How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

You have to pay for cleaning service and fresh towels.
Plenty of free street parking close to the apartment. Also, the bus which takes you to the center is nearby. Traditional Italian breakfast of croissant and coffee was provided in Caffè Greco.

we just spent one night here, to stay overnight before next day's flight. for that purpose it was just perfect. supermarket, restaurants, cafeterias in few minutes walking distance. downtown also ~30 min walk, but price/value was really acceptable.

The iron didn’t work and i there was a lot of insects in the bathroom. It was a bit noise from outside. I found some hair in the bathroom
Very modern and nice decorated. The coffee and croissant at the breakfast included were awesome. It’s very nice we found coffee and water when we arrive

it was great
Really nice place to stay in Bari, close to the Stazione Centrale di Treno, walking distance. Places to eat around. The room has a mini fridge, coffee maker, air conditioner, really nice shower. Comfy bed. Breakfast is a voucher to eat at a Caffe. It was really good! 2 blocks away.

Dodo’s house is an amazing option for young couples who want to explore Bari. It’s so clean and modern. I am going to book again soon

The place is sort of lacking things to make it completely comfortable: only 1 chair in the room for 2 people, no soap and two 7 ml shower gels for 2 people for 4 days, no dishwashing anything - yet we should be able to wash the breakfast cutlery.We had to immediately go to the shop to buy at least the wash stuff. Breakfast is very sugary, I read it from reviews but I am here to confirm that it's true. Even the juice is with added sugar. It's not that we didn't like it but it for sure won't fit many health-driven eating plans. The refrigerator is extremely loud, it makes some cracking dying noises all night. In the future I would probably choose a location closer to the city center, this area and a walk to it are not long and difficult but not the cleanest either. Overall the location was relatively quiet considering the rooms are on the first floor. The bed was a bit weird - too soft or maybe misformed - not the best option if you have back issues.
The room is comfortable for two people to stay, it has a TV, refrigerator, clothes rack, bedside tables, hair dryer. The bathroom is clean, no problems with water - hot or cold. The conditioner is working nicely and the rather quiet one. Breakfast was provided inside the room and refreshed every 2 days. There is coffee from the coffee machine. Sheets and towels were clean and updated every few days. No issues with check in and out. Very nice communication with a host.

Our stay at Dodo's house was very pleasant. The room has modern and clean and the personal was very kind and attentive with us. The location it at a 20 minutes walk from the train station, in a quiet area.

Could have been cleaner. Tea & coffee would have been welcome. Noise from a/c or some machine all night. Was FAR from Centrale train station, further than stated - takes 30 mins walking.
Comfortable bed. Stayed 1 night when our flight was cancelled, helpful booking taxi.

I agree with previous reviews, important details were missing, such as shower gel, slippers or carpets. It's cold to walk barefoot on these tiles and your feet are dirty afterwards. I don't recommend choosing this accommodation only because it has breakfast compared to other options. Breakfast here is coffee and a sweet croissant in a nearby bar. This type of breakfast is not suitable for everyone.
The hosts were very polite, and they brought us a warm blanket. Everything except the floor was clean. It is a great option for a short vacation in the region. It was a bit far from the central station, but on a scooter, it was fast.
