Reviews of Hotel Do Pozzi 3 stars

We stayed at do Pozzi 32 years ago and wanted to reminisce. The location, which is perfect, clearly hasn’t changed. The breakfasts were just as good as we remember. The staff — available 24/7 — was just as patient and helpful. Make certain to say hi to Roberto.

We seem to believe that the facility is smaller now, perhaps, over the years, the number of rooms has decreased? Our bathroom WAS small — about 20 square feet. Rooms tend to be smaller in Venice of course, but there was little space to sit in the room itself. Enjoy the courtyard instead.

Tiny room tiny bathroom but clean and in an amazing location. The air con was either full blast freezing or had to be off, a dated system, so up throughout the night trying to sort it. Not great, but only one night and a cheap hotel in an amazing location. Just cross your fingers you don’t get the room we had.

The hotel location was spot on..the hotel was clean. Staff at the restaurant were very attentive. Overall excellent value for money.

Aircon didn’t work very well in our room, some staff not very helpful. Shower unit could use a shelf to put shampoo, soap etc.

Great location close to St. Marks square! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

The hotel is in a prime location in Venice, just steps away from St. Mark’s Basilica. I found its location key for getting around to many important spots in the city. The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. And the breakfast doesn't have a wide variety of foods, but it does include basics like scrambled eggs, coffee, croissants, bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals, orange juice, and tangerines. For first-time visitors with large luggage, it’s worth noting that to reach the hotel, you must take a water taxi (which drops you off about a 5-minute walk away for €35 per person) or the water bus (Vaporetto).

The location is incredible. Me and my friend (2 females) felt incredibly safe walking around the area at night. Staff were lovely. The water pressure was fab and there was aircon which was a life saver the weekend we visited.

The staff were absolutely lovely, they gave fantastic recommendations. The room was fantastic for our stay in Venice. Very close to the ferry Giglo, Doges Palace, and shopping districts.

The location was phenomenal. The staff were really helpful and always present. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned really well each day.
