Aircon didn’t work very well in our room, some staff not very helpful. Shower unit could use a shelf to put shampoo, soap etc.

The hotel is in a prime location in Venice, just steps away from St. Mark’s Basilica. I found its location key for getting around to many important spots in the city. The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. And the breakfast doesn't have a wide variety of foods, but it does include basics like scrambled eggs, coffee, croissants, bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals, orange juice, and tangerines. For first-time visitors with large luggage, it’s worth noting that to reach the hotel, you must take a water taxi (which drops you off about a 5-minute walk away for €35 per person) or the water bus (Vaporetto).

The location is incredible. Me and my friend (2 females) felt incredibly safe walking around the area at night. Staff were lovely. The water pressure was fab and there was aircon which was a life saver the weekend we visited.

The towel warmer not working and woman at the front desk. Very very unwelcoming.

The location was top notch. We had one of the renovated rooms which was great compared to our other family who was in a very old room. Our towel dryer did not work however and after traveling for 10 days we couldn’t dry our few things we washed. The desk staff was very welcoming except for the woman there during the day. She was unfriendly and offering no assistance.

The beds were far too firm for us and the pillows a little too hard. But appreciate that is very much a personal preference. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were very kind.

Location of the hotel is fantastic for a base for exploring Venice, and the breakfast is basic, but great for what we wanted/needed. Hotel is good value for the location and easy to find, very convenient for the Vaporreto stop Giglio.

Location was amazing! 5 minutes walking to the St Mark's Basilica. I did not use any transportation during my stay. Just water bus on my first and last day at the hotel. A lot of restaurants, stores and bars to choose from.

The breakfast could have had more variety and they could allow for more facilities such as tea and coffee throughout the day.

The facilities were great and the room was better than I expected. The location of the hotel was ideal and allowed us to visit around the area.

The courtyard out front was not really used as tarpaulin was out there. Bit shabby inside but room was clean. Restaurants in that area are expensive.

Tucked away in a Venice lane close to a vaporetto stop and easy walk to St Marks Square. Very quiet setting, little courtyard for breakfast. Breakfast was great with tea / coffee, juices, bread, croissants, yoghurts, fruit and cereal. Staff were pleasant. Was clean and decent room which had tea/coffee facilities and small bathroom with great shower.

I found the visitors tax awkward as I wasn't sure how to play and the receptionist wasn't helpful when I asked. I wasted time trying to sort it online when all he had to do was tell me I could just pay it with the bill.

Most of the staff were very friendly and nice. Hotel was centrally located .

Everything was good besides that they didn’t add coffee for the next day. It’s written coffee/ tee included but seems that’s only for one use

To be honest, I had very low expectations for this hotel as I had read a lot of negative reviews before arriving. However, these negative comments were not found to be true in my situation. The room was very modern and clean, and looked like the pictures advertised. The staff were helpful and courteous. The hotel itself was well situated, just a 10-minute walk from St. Mark's Square and Basilica, with lots of shops and restaurants all around. We took the water bus from the railway station and got off at San Marco and then walked to the hotel. I really enjoyed my time in Venice, and the hotel was a big part of that.
